Having a Vanilla job makes explaining your income easier.![]()

I worked a vanilla job while I was camming ... I loved my job, truly. Makeup is my passion ... I loved my customers to death, and giving makeovers was so much fun. I didn't get paid a lot but I loved it, and that's what matters.
Anyways, even though I was great at what I did, my manager knew I had another job that paid way better and I think she was jealous. When I first started working there she let me get away with anything LITERALLY, I went to work drunk once, and all she said was "I know you're buzzed, I get it. As long as you do your job, I don't care." Then out of nowhere, little things bothered her ... specifically eating at the job. So she told the manager above her that I was eating (yes, apparently eating is a huge concern).
Then the manager above her spied on me at work, and surprise surprise, she fired me on the spot for eating?!?! Am I supposed to starve? Anyways, we got in a yelling match and I stormed out.
My vanilla job days are over. I'll be happy to give makeovers on the side, but I'm never working for anyone ever again.
Not to mention, camming while working a vanilla job was truly exhausting for me. I don't know how anyone does it for a long period of time.
Right now I'm really liking my vanilla job. It has some decent perks [2 weeks into my job we had a party at work for our top 100 clients and I got to spend the last few hours of my shift drinking wine and eating hor d'ouerves (or however the hell you spell it)]. The pay is ok but with the hours I work, I have plenty of time for camming without feeling burned out.

My first post was a bit random and unfinished. My vanilla job is more customer focused. It's something I enjoy doing, and I charge well for it in my area because the big companies in my industry do, and also, I have a niche that no one else has. What's so great about me running a business is that once I get a nice large customer base, I can hire employees, rent a main office, and work on paperwork and payroll. Or, I can hire a few office managers, quality control managers, and techs for the actual job. By that time, I'd have more money, more time, and less "face" time with clients just in case someone recognizes me. Being available for my customers now puts more value in my work to make things perfect before having other people take over. I can cam freely now, because I'm just getting back into it, and after I hire for the vanilla work I won't be in their faces if that makes any sense lol. It would be harder for me to be recognized running things as a more private owner as I'd have managers and quality control peeps to do the work for me. They'd never see this bitch!
I really love vanilla job..my friend wants me to start the job.
