It's been a long two months but I'm getting so excited for march and April! By us it picks up drastically I'm going to be working 7 days a week for 8 weeks... Anyone else going to hustle hard?

really? tax season is good for you? Ive always done well spring in general but the week before and after taxes are due is always pretty bad so I usually take time off.
March and April are the best months by me. Late may- sep sucks. Only seconded by a
L of January
Come April it starts to pick up a bit around here, and I'll be able to work more at the club come May when my internship ends, so I'm definitely getting excited as well!
I cannot wait. Tax season is our best time of year where I live! March and April were great last year.
7 days a week for 8 Weeks?? Wow, thats hard core. This is our good season too, I usually see a little drop off when taxes are actually being filed. Dont mean to divert the thread, but as a side question- do yall use an accountant ir do ur own?

^^^ I guess this depends on what part of the country you're located in, and the economic status of your typical club customers. In NYC, the vast majority of club customers earn more than $100k per year, meaning that their Social Security tax 'caps out' somewhere in the middle of the year. Thus, starting with their first paycheck in January, the SSI tax kicks in again and their take-home paycheck drops significantly.
also, for SOME NYC customers, their investment income is now going to be hit with higher cap gains and dividend tax brackets, plus a new 3.9% Medicare tax. And their end of year bonuses ( paid in 2013 ) are similarly subject to higher tax brackets.
Hopefully these guys will be able to find some interesting new ways to avoid higher taxes, or NYC dancer income is likely to suffer !!!
Yeah that must be terrible. I'm in Milwaukee so we have a broad range of customers.... And ill tell you what I'm not a fan of ghetto ass gangster type but come tax time they're the ones spending mad money lol
I'm wondering if this tax season will make much of a difference in my earnings. My club's slowest months are January and February, so it'll be picking up anyway when refund season rolls around.

Oh yeah..... I can't wait for the tax season ballers to come in and spend spend spend!
