I'm so, so sorry. I understand how hard it is to loose a pet. I hope that she can go in peace and that you can enjoy your time together.
I know that this is too late for your current situation, but they do have such a thing as pet insurance (similar to health insurance for people). I'm not sure if they do bunnies but it doesn't hurt to ask. It's pretty affordable too from what I've heard.
*hugs*

I can empathize with you as I'm a dog lover. In my case, we went to the Vet only to be told there was nothing that could be done as my Dog was also older. The Vet said, "just make her comfortable". He also told me to watch for evidence of "pain" in which case to bring her in so that she did not suffer. That's what I did even though it was hard.
From what you describe, I don't think a vet could help, so, please don't feel bad about not having funds. If Bunny is suffering, you can go to the Humane Society and they will help bunny over the bridge at no cost.

Yeah she just died..

Im so sorry to hear this....many hugs for you...
Don't blink. Don't even blink. Blink and you're dead. Don't turn your back. Don't look away. And don't blink!

So sry for your loss. My animals are my heart & soul really, esp. my Cockatiel. Sending you hugs & strength. Liquor store just received my favourite liquor that I ordered this wk, once I've picked it up I will have a drink for both of you.

I'm so sorry hon.I hope you have good memories of your bunny.

this happened to me twice, and although i love bunnies, i cannot take the loss anymore. may your little bun rest in peace.
My heart is with you! It is so tough to lose the fluffs we fall in love with. Hugs!!

So sorry for your loss, Do you have pictures of your bun buns?or video? Watch them. Then write a letter/how your feeling and light some candles. Have a memorial/pray/meditate. Burn the letter. Let balloons go, or put the note in a bottle and put it out to sea. Allow yourself some time to cry and heal.

Very sorry for ur loss, imho care for animals and humans is insanely overpriced...I hope u feel better soon. <333 try to imagine the good times u two spent and know she isnt suffering anymore. No more pain..
I'm so sorry about your bunny -- it's very hard even when they are old and sick. My friend, who can barely pay her rent, just spent several hundred on her cat at the vet. It kills me the prices that you have to pay to take care of your pets. Big hugs.
I paid £240 once to have a Gerbil treated at the vet lol-fees are extortionate I agree (I'm in the UK). However if she was so old and you gave her a happy life, keep that in mind. Bunnies are one of the most neglected and mistreated pets around, often bought as a novelty for kids and/or just forgotten about. Be mindful for your compassion and care for her and her death was only one very small part of the time she had here-I'm sure you took great care of her and she was as happy as a pet bunny can be-so many have a life full of nothing but loneliness and neglect-you gave her good times and cared for her well (I'm sure you did) x
