Ultimate Coming Soon Page (plugin): I thought it was fantastic while I was doing mine. Gives you a static page to put basic details and photos on, customisable. While it's activated, visitors can only see that page, while you are busy working on getting your site ready to open. When you are happy with the site, you just deactivate it

    Thank you! :-D

I can't give much more specific help unless there's something in particular you want. Just going to say that when I started with Wordpress I had never done anything of the sort before. I played around with it for weeks before I was happy with it, and I'm not done yet - I keep changing things. I found a lot of things very confusing to start with but now I 90% know what I'm doing. Just takes time to figure everything out. Consider it your project, your "baby" and have fun playing with it. When I've gotten properly stuck, a google search normally told me what I needed to know.
Ok, my site isn't amazing or the most professional, but I like it and it works (got CCBill too).

Wordpress is pretty simple to use unless you want to design a custom theme. It just takes a little getting used to and you'll be able to find your way around in no time. On my blog I'm using the Twenty Eleven template and just customized it inside the appearance settings. Some of the default themes can work really nicely if you just tweak them a bit to your liking.

I really like the Tweetable plugin, and of course Akismet is a must to keep spam comments away. I also like the Tweet Button plugin and Reaction Button plugins.

Are you using a plugin for the adult content pop up warning?

I do yes. I wish it was more customisable, but hey. I have it set so that if you visit, you'll get the pop up the first time, but not again until you clear your history etc.
I wasn't when I was using the coming soon page, if that's what you're asking. Xx
