Default Working my first weekend night! Advice appreciated :)

    Hi there!
So some of you ladies may have seen my post a few days ago that I finally auditioned. I worked a Wednesday 7pm to 1am. I did good and made pretty good money. Well now it's saturday, and tonight at 8 is my next shift. I'm nervous for a few reasons. The first being bigger crowds and rowdy round kids (I'm young but would rather deal with like 29-30 years and up lol). The second being I feel like better looking girls will work weekend nights. Any advice or imput ladies? You guys are all awesome thanks in advance!

    xoxo

The weekend is a bit of a different crowd where I live. There are ALOT of people, however there are also more drunks and there is more of a young audience which makes it a bit harder to hustle for dances. (where I am from we get a lot of cheap asses on weekends and most money is made on stage) Overall, it really just depends where you are working though. What area are you working in? Maybe someone who is familiar with the area can give you some more specific advice. Good luck!

Don't get discouraged if you don't have a lot of money early in the night. The last hour or two always has the highest earning potential. If the club is packed, don't waste too much time on each customer. Don't necessarily 'wanna dance' them, but don't sit around for more than a song or two when there are so many other money-making opportunities.

How can I politely move on from one customer to the next? & when should I move on?

Weekend night I would say do one song per customer of chatting and then ask for a dance and if they say no politely tell them it's been nice talking to them but you really need to make some money unless of course they would like to pay you for your time (dont hold your breath on weekend nights, lol) .

When it's crazy busy just give them one or two songs worth of company, to feel them out. Then make your pitch for dances; if they turn you down & don't want to pay for your company then politely tell them smtg like 'thnx for the break then but I need to get back to making $$' or smtg along those lines. Or tell them, if they are the 1st one you sat w/ after getting done w/ stage, that you have another customer who's waiting for you. I always end w/ 'but I'll come back to you in a bit if you like' & they'll let you know whether you should come back later.

Exactly. You're not there to make friends and (most) customers realize you're there to make money, not sit around for free. There's nothing wrong with excusing yourself once they've rejected you. Wish them a good night and tell them to come find you when they change their mind and are ready for some fun. Be really upbeat and smiley about it. I've definitely had customers come find me or wave me over later when they were more settled in and wanted dances, so it's worthwhile to leave a positive impression.
