1. You're trying to become a stripper to pay your way through college
or
2. You're just escaping an abusive home and the abuser(s) might be looking for you or might show up at the club you to stalk you.

Why are either of these things being mentioned? I've never had a manager ask me why I was auditioning to be a dancer and I've never felt the need to volunteer that information myself. All management cares about is that you're of age and able/willing to take off your clothes in front of people. This isn't like applying for a "vanilla" job where they ask about why you want to work there; stripper hiring is entirely superficial and based only on your looks.
The less you say, the better off you are. Just take your clothes off and call it a day.![]()

I wouldn't mention anything about the ex while you're auditioning but after u have been hired and worked a few nites, if it seems like a good supportive club u want to stay at I would definitely mention it to management and security, maybe even give a picture of him to the front desk so they know not to let him in. I've known a few girls at different clubs who had similar problems and management kept an eye out.
I agree with Ariel, it's no one's business why you want to be a stripper. If asked, just say you enjoy dancing. When anyone asks me why I works as an escort I say that I like to fuck.
