Default Newbie - Hoping someone can help...!

Hi everyone. Firstly, a massive thank you to everyone who posts on here, I've been reading the forums avidly for the last 2 months and they've been a great help.

I've been trying to search for answers for a couple of questions I have before taking the leap into starting camming, but I haven't really been able to find any answers, I'm aware they're quite specific questions though, so perhaps no one has the answer.

Basically, I'm interested in starting camming because firstly I think it's a job I'd enjoy and also because me and my other half are starting to get pretty desperate for money. I'm a student (I live in the UK), so it also appeals as I'd be able to set my working pattern around my university work.

Does anyone know how earning money camming (and hopefully earning enough that I have to pay taxes) effects student loans? At the moment my loan is given based on my parent's income, but by the time I'm in my final year I will have been independent for 3 years, so I'm assuming they might want to go off mine and my fiance's wages instead of my parents. Basically I'm worried that I'll earn an amount that will mess up how much financial help they'll give me, I use my student loans to cover our rent, so without them we'd struggle even more. Does anyone have any insight into this?

And secondly, my course is effectively training me to go into an NHS job, does anyone know if having a job like camming would pose a risk for me trying to work for the NHS in the future? I know the background checks in the US are very stringent, but I'm under the impression that they're not so strict here. But again, I don't want to start camming if it could possibly prevent me getting into the career I want in the future. I've tried looking for an answer for this question so much, but I can't seem to find anything! So any help on this one would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks ladies.

EDIT: Sorry I can't read, so this post is mostly non-applicable. UK not US. Shhh.... it's been a long day. Those threads are still helpful though!

I don't know about the UK but what I've been told hat unless you're married they use your parents income to figure aid no matter what.

Your 1099s will show up on very in depth background checks like jobs that require security clearance will perform.
Sorry, I probably should have been more specific, by NHS I mean the National Health Service - I'm in the UK. I also don't believe we have 1099s in the UK and I don't think our background checks are quite so in depth, even for jobs in the NHS, but again, I'm not 100% sure of this.

Thank you for the links, I'll have a further read!

I can't really comment on UK student loans, but I live in Canada, and if you make over a certain amount in your pre-study period or while you're studying, they deduct it from your student loan (at least in my province). Any job in sex work can absolutely affect your employment in certain fields, but unless you fill out your tax forms as 'camwhore', I doubt you'll have very much of a problem. These threads on UK and other background checks/taxes/ and medical work should help:

Sorry for bumping this up, I haven't been on the forum for a while.

Thanks for the help everyone. As I thought, the answer is effectively a resounding no. I know I could risk it and there's a large chance I may not ever be found out, as maryjaynexo, I'm not going to plaster "camwhore" all over my tax documents or CV...but I can't risk wasting a hell of a lot of money and years on a medical-based degree that I may not be able to use
