Im curious how many of you have noticed a difference in how customers perceive you based on curling or straightening your hair. I know most guys conciously dont give much of a shit as long as everything is working together, but im also curious if it affects your persona.
I have naturally long mildly wavy hair. Ill typically just add some shine to it & this makes me feel most "myself" & comfortable. I like spending time to get ready & at nicer clubs curl my hair. Straight down it looks pretty but not glamed up enough for the environment. When I put it up I I think I look Guido & am self conscious. I just got a straightner & tried it out at home & will try it at work to see if it makes any difference. My snap impressions are:
-curly hair makes you look younger, "cuter" perhaps friendlier & more approachable. I love it when girls rock the 1920s burlesque look. Downside: it can look frumpy, get frizzy, look poodle-ish, or immature.
Straight hair- I think I definetly look more "serious" not sure if that will mess with a party vibe, alota girls have impossibly straight hair so might blend in more, looking more mature perhaps makes it easier to lay down the law & send em back for dances.
Experiences?

im going to try new hair products, but i truly believe my hair just doesn't want to look good..i kept having to go back and fix it. so i tried straight, silky hair with long side bangs the next week and made twice as much. plus it took less time, and kept the shine and silkiness, and made it look longer. i could run my fingers though it too. im going to keep trying new products, but until i get my curls to cooperate, im going to go with simple straight hair
Also I agree with simone about trying to keep frizz down with curly hair during a shift is a bitch lol.
