    Default How much do you enjoy being a dancer?

    Im gunna be a new dancer here soon, well im hoping somewhere will hire me haha.
    I love dancing and feeling sexy, Im not the best dancer but I love moving my and swaying my body in sexy lingerie, so im hoping ill enjoy being an exotic dancer. I really want to save up and invest my money and take travels and do fun things with my life and for school. I also cannot STAND retail and I always feel like being sexy and dancing so i think an exotic dancer would be fun, atleast for a little while..
    Im curious about you ladies that are dancers, do you love being an exotic dancer? on a scale of 1-10 how much do you like being one? (10 being you absolutly love being an exotic dancer)
    Im just curious really about how you all like it

    Eh, it's given me a lot and it's taken a lot. It takes a certain mindset to work in this industry long term and remain sane. I don't know how "sane" I am after almost a decade. I know my partying years are behind me and I treat this like any other job. I'm not overly enthusiastic about it, but it definitely beats a 9-5. (Sometimes) This job feeds me, clothes me, pays my rent and allows me freedom to travel and pursue other artistic and personal endeavors. I guess an 8.

    I enjoy dancing now it helps bring me out of my shell. But there were times I got burnt out or stopped for a significant other etc and had to come back to it. I will say that I will rate dancing now 8-9 vs when i was younger and didnt have thicker skin i would have rated it 6.

    x2, that's my answer exactly!

    I adore being a dancer-before I'd had 'normal' jobs (I had other jobs before dancing but all party night jobs like bar/waitress ones) but since being in an office I appreciate dancing more than ever. I never dislike it, sometimes I just love it more than others. 8-10 depending on;
    How much money I make
    What club I'm in
    What the other girls are like
    What dramas happen at work
    What the customers are like!

    Hear Hear (Here Here?). My enjoyment fluxes; usually as a reflection of how life outside the club is travelling.

    I know I want to be out by the time I hit 35. I may sound like Chicken Little but I see the industry decaying all around us despite the fact that some are still having $1000 nights. The economy, availability of free porn, pole dancing classes for suburban housewives, and a decline in hiring standards is doing to eventually sink this industry and I don't want to be there when it does.
