Default buying stripper clothes in uk

Hi girls, ive been invited to turn up for an audition shortley and am wondering where to go to buy good outfits to dance. Im trying to stay away from the online shops as i really need to try things on before buying. Also is it possible to find stripper shoes with quite a llow heel on them, like 3 inches as im already quite tall anyway and an embarresing uk size 9. Thank you

3" heels aren't stripper heels, they're normal heels that will kill your feet by the end of the shift. A pair of normal heels will suffice for your audition, but proper platforms (generally at least 5-6") are the best investment you can make as a dancer.

I've worn a lot of outfits from Primark in the club, though other normal shops also carry appropriate things. You may even have something that works in your closet, which would save you the cost of new outfits if you end up not liking dancing - I also don't recommend purchasing a lot of new outfits right away anyway as you won't have a good idea of what works and is most flattering until you've been dancing for bit. All you need is a bra & panty set or a short dress and you're ready to go.

I'm not sure about heels-I order those online but Shanna's right, normal heels aren't a good idea for dancing, you can damage your feet.
Primark is ace I agree-I buy pretty or lacey vests, and wear those with just a thong-primark thongs look fine, (although they don't tend to last long!). I hate spending a lot of money when it's just for work. If you've got a little dress or a pretty bra and knicks and some matching stockings...

Ann summers packaged range are cheap and cheerful for dancing. I have got some nice long lace dresses from there for 20 quid. They are down to a tenner online but I can't post a link for some reason. I wear them over a primark lingerie set

yeah primark actually has stripper-y outfits... like not underwear or an outdoor top- slutty, small, specific outfits. Great for us! Or just wear some flattering nice underwear.

Sex shops usully have some dance heels in but depending on the shop maybe not much variety. You can get small dance shoes, eg from this website http://www.alternative-footwear.co.u..._on_shoes.html (i love this site). But for an audition some regular shoes are fine. In fact a very tall girl works at my club and wears what look like normal black courts to me. Honestly it looks fine. She's tall and leggy (and booby and curvy) so her shoes are just not even a big part of her look.

Oh! Just remmebered, fancy dress shops sometimes have stripper shoe sin. They'll be standard 5-6inch heel, 2 in platform, but i got a pair for £13 so good as an audition/back up pair.

Thank you for the advise girls, i will definatley check out primark and anne summers to see if i can at least put a couple of outfits together. The shoes may be a little more difficult as a lot of shops only have limited stock in my size.

I find the ones that show up in regular shops aren't anywhere near as comfortable as proper platforms, but they will certainly do in a pinch until you can afford proper ones. Jaden - you can order them online for quite cheap as well, and then sizing won't be a problem. You can try on some pairs in any adult shop so you know which size is right.
