    Default Stick shifting

I'm not even sure if I know what this means but I assume it's like a hj or rubbing the guy with your hand outside of his pants. I overheard a couple dancers saying they have no problem doing this and will ask for a tip on top of what was already given if they finish the guy off. To me this crosses the line. Sure grinding is same idea but I can purposely avoid the guys erection or air dance a bit if I feel he's getting too worked up. Am I being a prude here or are most of you with me on this one? To me that's basically jerking the guy off and a slippery slope to prostitution. I don't care if guys clothes are on its still too intimate. Again I'm talking about NYC club so I imagine this is pretty tame and the norm in other cities. Your thoughts?

Stripping is about creating a sexual fantasy, NOT doing someone sexual deeds. End of story. However, men getting "worked up" is something you do get used to because it is just a part of being in the industry and will happen. Backing off a bit is perfectly okay! Have you considered checking out another club where this "stick shifting" isn't happening and customers aren't expecting it? In my opinion that is not okay. I would not want to be working in a place where that is considered normal.

    NO NO NO NO!

Dancers that do this kind of shit piss me the fuck off. You want to grab dick? Go be an escort! Ain't no shame in the game, just make sure you're playing the right game!

They fuck up money for "clean" dancers. Nothing good comes from their bullshit.

I wouldn't work at a club where this is the norm, either. It is always going to be going on in damn near every club, but it won't be the norm.

The great thing about this job is that you can always walk away if something is happening that makes you uncomfortable. Extras are a slippery slope and a great lesson in race to the bottom economics. There is money to be made as a clean dancer - up your hustle and you won't have to "stick shift" or do whatever other extras the girls in your club can get away with.
