Ouch!! What the hell were you doing?
As sm1 who's fallen off multiple times (on stage too) sm times the only thing you can do is take a few days off from work. I've pulled pectoral & groin muscles & those injuries continue to cause me discomfort, esp. since altho I stretch well, try to take things easy when I'm hurting & take my supplements religiously I continue to do what I do.
Alternate ice & heat, take a bit of time off work if you need to - listen to your body! Depending on what you hurt: I once worked w/ a lady who was a RN & when I first pulled my groin muscles she told me strongly not to try & stretch them, even lightly. I thought sm light stretching would help keep the muscles from tightening too much, but apparently I was just making it worse.
If it comes down to it, you may just have to see a doctor. Hope you feel better soon.
