Default Managing VIP and stage sets

    Hi everyone,

Im not a stripper yet ill be applying this week..but a few questions..
I feel kinda silly asking this question, but say your doing a VIP or a private dance with a customer and they keep buying and buying dances or your in the middle of a dance and its your time to go on stage....how does that work?

Im just scared of being told to go on stage for my set (lets say every hour I go on stage) and when its my turn to go up I cant because im in the back doing private dances.

    what happends?

I tell them that if I'm busy making money and they want their money they better fuck off. (I did this last night) Most clubs are pretty understanding and will take you out of the rotation.

totally depends on the club. my first one they would take you off stage rotation if you were doing any kind of dance out back.
the club im at now will only let you get out of stage if you are doing vip. if you miss your stage you are fined at least 25 bucks, they don't care if you are doing a dance..and they fine you more if they are in a bad mood. i don't think most clubs are like that though

Be sweet/tip well to your DJs. That way, even if your club has a policy that you can't technically be bumped down in the stage rotation for the sake of private dances, your DJ will probably still help you out. Just communicate with him and check where you're at in the rotation regularly. Also, a discreet watch (one that looks like a bangle, like this http://compare.ebay.com/like/1210686...Types&var=sbar ) will help you keep track of time better, so you'll know when to expect your stage set. (I say discreet because it's sort off off-putting and in some cases downright offensive to blatantly check your watch while you're sitting with a customer.)

If you're in VIP, on the other hand, the club will take you off of the stage rotation for the duration of the time your customer has purchases with you.
“The irony of commitment is that it's deeply liberating -- in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around like rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life.”

Check in with your dj and let him know you are going to be in VIP for a bit. Normally they are cool about it and will skip over you in rotation until you check back in. Like summerbre said make sure you tip your dj good! It normally pays off

That's something management will explain to you when you're hired because it varies greatly by club. In some clubs you're officially taken off the rotation, in others you can tip for the "favour," and in others it's straight up not allowed.
