    Default Dancing with varicose veins

Any other girls here have any tips on dancing with varicose veins? My family curse has hit me the other night my vein busted ( good thing I wear thick thigh high socks at work) my mom told me to take aspirin daily to avoid blood clots & I ordered some compression stockings to wear under my socks. Anything else I can do....?

    Self tan: http://www.st-tropez.com/self-tan-full-range

Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs: http://sallyhansen.com/products/skin.../airbrush-legs to cover up your problem areas.

    Drink plenty of water.

    Minimize salt intake.

    Stretch.

Work out. Walk more often. Hike. Also, I find that doing yoga helps.

We are strippers so... the medical advice out there is tricky.... for example: Watch what you wear. Avoid high heels. Low-heeled shoes work calf muscles more, which is better for your veins. Don't wear tight clothes around your waist, legs or groin. Tight panty-leg girdles, for instance, can cut off blood flow. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/var...-home-remedies

Mayo Clinic does offer this herbal remedy: Horse chestnut seed extract may be an effective treatment for chronic venous insufficiency, a condition associated with varicose veins in which leg veins have problems returning blood to the heart. The herb may help improve swelling and discomfort caused by varicose veins. Talk with your doctor before trying horse chestnut seed extract or any other herb or dietary supplement to make sure these products won't interfere with any medications. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/var...ative-medicine

I've always been told don't cross your legs because it slows circulation making them worse over time... and pretty much everything sophia said is spot on. I hate vericose veins its not fair lol I blame my mom! She got the surgery done on them before but it didn't work very good... I hate just having to accept them though. I think leg massages also help

A girl I work with has varicose veins and wears low heeled, thigh-high boots at work.

I had to laugh when I read this thread title-it's soon my late Grandmother's birthday and she used to call hers 'Various Veins'. I remember her taking Serrapeptase for hers which seemed to help.
