How long before the soreness stops?...I'm sure this depends on your club and yourself but just to give you an idea I have only worked 2 shifts this is my 3rd tonight and I plan to work again Friday and Saturday because after tonight I feel I may be in traction. My club is urban so there is a lot of booty shaking which means sore thighs and lots of pole work and floorwork so I don't dance slow and sensual at least not for more than one song and my knees and back are sore and my back is even bruising. I went in early last night and again tonight to get some practice in so I won't feel so HORRIBLY misplaced on stage next to the superstars and flying strippers. They all look so fluid, comfortable and natural. I look like a lost mime who should've kept her day job. Last night I focused on the pole and tonight I plan to work on floorwork since I realize that fills a lot of time between twerking (booty shaking) which wears me out and since I fail at being sexy and I get nervous unsure and stiff. For dancers who are beyond the limping to a cab after a shift or barely being able to do another lapdance from being so fatigued and weren't sure how to accomplish "sexy": how long before you were adjusted and how much did you practice?( I can't really count last night's fatigue since I hadn't eaten except once that morning, tonight im getting my protein and starch before I leave.) THANKS for reading my rant and answering my questions. Any other tips are great too!!!

It's totally normal to be in discomfort the first couple of weeks.
