feel better babe! it will clear up
I'm freakin SICK of my vagina. Lol-always got something wrong with it. I was so relieved when I was told it wasn't an STD but it's meant I can't work or exercise so my life's pretty much on hold until it buggers off. DEFINITELY lazer as soon as it clears up, my skin's just not cut out for shaving-also though I was told it could have been caused by my running because the leggings I wear aren't proper running leggings, so if my follicles are open from shaving and then I sweat or friction occurs because I'm running, glands get blocked and the skin gets bacteria in it.
I've ordered some proper ones now!

Could it be an ingrown hair? I have had ingrown hairs that were like that bad too. Use a product called Tend Skin on it. If it is an ingrown hair, it will go away, or just crush up some aspirin and mix it with alcohol

Sounds like it might be a really inflamed ingrown hair. Treating the spot with tea tree oil might help.
Sounds like an ingrown hair!

it could be an infected cut too. sometimes razors or rough sex can make really tiny cuts that we dont notice unless it gets infected and turns into a big thing. did you get tested for bv? you might have it (and its easily treatable) if you have an infected ingrown hair or cut.
Please please request a blood test for the herpes virus. Everyone should have it done. When you get tested for STDs they do not test for herpes. 1 in 5 people carry this virus. My neighbor had the same issue. They looked at it and said it wasn't an std and not to worry. I insisted that he go get a blood test to make sure (they didn't run a culture on it. Like you) sadly his blood test came back positive for herpes type 2.

Also, staph infection is pretty common in the genital region. The bacteria can entire through a cut (from shaving) so also have that checked. Creams won't do anything for staph if you do have it. If you catch it early enough you can take the medication (beware, it will likely give you a yeast infection) or you will need it lanced.
you could have shaved funny and flayed the skin, i did that the other day and wonder why i was bleeding...thought i started my period...but i didnt, day two spot of blood in my undies, and i was like shit seriously
so i look around, couldnt find a cut, but stuck vinegar on it and it stung on the spot where i thought i peeled some skin off shaving, so it could be that! hope that helps
Thank you everyonethe antibiotics seem to be working! I still can't run because it's uncomfortable for me but it's gone down, just redness now.
I did have a swab of it taken, as she took it she took it she told me it was only precautionary though, I kind of insisted because I was so scared. I'm trying not to worry because I'll drive myself nuts!
I didn't no. I've got no other symptoms of bv and never have-I really hope it's not that!Lol
I always get yeast infections from antibiotics! Really annoying.
I'm really glad it's not just me!The girls at work never seem to have any problems-it's just me, I've got really funny skin I think. My skin everywhere is really soft-everyone always compliments me on it, It's a good thing most of the time but perhaps not when it comes to this sort of thing! Thanks again for the replies everyone![]()

I got one like that before as well. I went to the doctor who said it was not an STD. It was actually an ingrown hair. They can be very painful and create a red sensitive spot. If you wax or shave that is most likely the culprit.
