Smiley Sunday (THANKFULLY) Starts the extra hour until the end of the work (payday) on SM

Just a reminder to set Your clocks ahead 1 hour on Sunday. For those on weekly pay on SM, it will be great to have that extra hour to catch up on potential earnings. I always feel so rushed during the 6 months of the 1 hour lost for the cutoff point, to stay online just to try to make my daily goal. Plus, Saturdays are already HELLISH on SM as it is, I have been falling short of my goal every week that the 1 hour is lost.
I never understood the way SM has the daily cut-off point for earnings, but, being that 'it is what it is', a big "YEAH" for the next 6 months in getting that extra time to make more money. Since SM is not what it used to be, in terms of paying traffic, every little bit of time helps, right?
    Good luck Ladies!

And I'm still out from SM... Application waiting to be approved for like a week now I feel: 1) missing to have seriously good money and 2) ugly, maybe they saw my pictures and shoved me to the end of the approval line??? HAHAHAHA...

I'm confused! Doesn't the UK do DST? Aren't we springing ahead on the clocks? Don't we actually lose an hour this week? Won't it even out the following week?

I don't know about the UK, but we LOSE an hour, (Spring Ahead). In the fall, time goes back an hour, giving an extra hour.

Yea Spring ahead Fall behind so we lose an hour from what I was always taught. Still the extra day light will be nice though.

I'm looking forward to this too. That extra hour does seem to make a huge difference to me by the end of the week.

All I know is, Sat. night before you go to bed (or usually for me, Sun. morn.) clocks get turned forward 1 hour. If it's 2 am, it becomes 3 am. It's still the same time, we just lose an hour, (unless I'm wrong here? other countries idk) which is why I don't understand why it's being said that we gain an hour.

In the UK the clocks go forward 1 hour at 1am on the last Sunday in March ( on the 31st).

This is still all so confusing lol but thanks for breaking it down for a dummy like me ABigNerd lol. I'm on the east coast too so basically instead of the cut off time being 7pm for me it will be 8 now right? and that still doesn't change back to 7 when they do DST in the UK on the 31st- it will still be 8pm for me right? Gosh I feel like a nub LOL

I thought SM used GMT? But either way, here in US central time zone the current pay cut off time is 6pm. After Sunday it will move to 7pm.

SM is on GMT time. If you look at your earnings page its says "Earnings period (GMT)" and "Date (GMT)". Cut off time goes back to 8pm for the East Coast. I can't wait until we have longer days...spring is coming yaaaaaaaaaaaah so happy.

Your Welcome All! I think that it's just Arizona that doesn't ever change clocks, so if you're camming there, cut off would stay the same.(But I could be wrong about that). If You live in Arizona, You probably know already.
I was confused about losing an hour and why it's called daylight's savings~ found out it's because we SAVE another hour of sunlight.Yeah!! Anyone else have Spring fever??

^ I think Hawaii stays the same time too.

And YES to spring fever. Where I live, spring is the nicest part of the year.
