Default stripper wear in Jamaica, queens or online

I've heard there are exotic shops up there but I don't recall but one and the selection there somewhat sucks its ion Jamaica ave & Parsons Blvd... anyone who knows the area and shopping know if there are more shops and where they are in the area? Also any tips on good websites to try from. I'm nervous about this choice because I know sizes can run differently and it's hard to know how well I look just by the pictures but I may be forced to use online shopping. also anyone ever wear lycra or stretch velvet boots are they a good idea? Will they fit to my skinny legs pour should I get something I can lace tight? it seems like they would make you sweat way more and I'm not sure if they will hinder me or help on the pole. but I need thigh highs or at least knee coverage and something that will make a sexy fit to my skinny calf and leg

I have worn shinny black Lycra with zipper. Lycra hold well, REAL bikini swimsuits are made of it ( not cheezy stripper 'kinis). The first velvet ones are nice.

I have the velvet ones. They're very slippery on the pole and hurt my feet. I like the third pair the most.

There are two shops on Jamaica Ave that i kno of.... There is one next to Taco Bell that only sells shoes... the selection isnt to bad and you can almost always talk the saleslady on a price.... then there is on the same block as rainbow called starlight shoes that sells shoes and clothes.... although their clothing selection isnt so grand..... if your looking for a basic bikini top and bottom the have them there for $5 per piece in an array of colors and they also have lingerie... again not the best selection but if your looking for something basic their prices are pretty good

Forget those tired shops in Queens. Head to the Bronx.

Cloth in general, IME is not pole-friendly. There simply isn't any grip. The plus side is that if you go in w/ cloth-type boots (I'm currently rocking sm suede thi-his) your leg muscles will be working harder to grip. When I first got on the pole w/ my suede boots it was almost like trying to grip while wearing jeans - scary! Had a lil adjusting to do, now I peel down the boots & layers of socks so I grip w/ my bare skin for certain pole tricks. Kinda defeats the purpose as I have come to slide them up&down a couple times while on stage for pole vs floorwork moves, but had to get them in a pinch. They are my in-between boots until I can get sm nice leather ones.

The sweat problem can be solved by wearing multiple layers of tall socks underneath the boots, spraying your legs w/ deodorant & putting baking soda or another odor-eater type thing in your boots once or twice a wk. Leather is probably your best bet if you're looking for added grip; patent leather/vinyl will have a peel&stick effect that takes sm getting used to, while real leather will not necessarily hurt or help your grip, but will certainly protect your skin.

I'd recommend smtg that laces, just so you're not tripping over the boots b/c they're falling down to your ankles, but my current boots aren't very precisely fitted & they slide down a bit but are largely held in place by multiple layers of socks.
