What's the highest bill you've been given as a tip while on stage?
I had a guy interrupt me in the middle of my conversation with a couple saying he "accidentally" tipped me a $100 bill while I was on stage earlier.
I told him I don't know because I don't count my money until the end of the night.
Well I felt I had to excuse myself from the couple, go to the bathroom and look at my money. I was telling another dancer about the events, as I found the $100 bill, and she of course said shed make up an excuse to keep it.
My ethics started to kick in. if it really was an accident i should give it back but then i think one should be more careful and once it comes out of your hand and onto the stage its mine. and whats to keep any man from spending money, later claiming it was an "accident" then asking for it back.
but just to make sure I told the manager about it, he gave me good advice and I did what my gut told me to do which was to give it back.
but now I am wondering how realistic is it for you all to get tipped large bills on stage?
