    "Fat Burning Zone" myth or legit?

    BrinkZone Radio, with host Will Brink, examines the “fat burning zone” with guest Dr. Jose Antonio. People are often told to exercise at lower intensity to “burn” more fat, but is that accurate advice or outdated? This weeks show answers that important question that seems to cause endless confusion.

    i was always told do short bursts of running high intensity, and then to walk or jog while you cool off for maximum fat burning? for some reason my computer won't bring me to the link grr

    That would be a form of High Intensity Interval Training ( HIIT ) training, and it's highly effective for fat loss yes. Like anything, has it's potential downsides also, which I cover briefly in this show. I plan to dedicate the next show to HIIT training BTW and have some info on HIIT on my page HERE.
