Default what's your personal style for out of work?

so another thread caught my attention on alone the lines of personal style..and while i have a specific style at work, i feel i dont' really have one for out of work. i just wear the whole american eagle/aeropostale/target/ jeans, cami, shirt, yoga pants, uggs, converse. im thinking even though i look young its kind of too young for me and this summer im going with the boho/hippie look. like off the shoulder peasant tops cinched in a the waist, long sundresses, worn jeans, beads, etc. toned down of course but yeah. im toying with different ideas. i've alway been too busy with everyday life but now that i have the money and time i want to play around with different ideas so do you guys have a signature style?

Not me but my neighbor who is in her late 20s/early 30s always wears yoga pants most of the time. If its not that I see her in her scrubs (shes a nursing student). I would say her style along with a lot of women in her age range that I have seen at Starbucks/malls/grocery stores/etc. have a similar look. She also wears those eskimo boots (uggs I believe they are called) with jeans and a baby tee/jacket. I am not a fan of those boots...they are so fugly but thats just my opinion. I feel like women can wear the yoga pants even if they not going to yoga class and it looks okay since people will think they did anyways. Now men wearing sweats would look sloppy unless they were at the gym/playing b ball. BTW I saw a chick on a sportbike in some black yoga pants there were so sheer I could see her thong. I think its version one of those lululemon brand that had to recall the pants because of that particular issue. I like em that way, its a nice look. :-P

I LOVE off the shoulder tops so cute! I usually wear leggings, boots (still cold here) whatever tops long/short sleeves t's layered. I also love longer length, long sleeve tops over leggings. Jeans too. I prefer cooler weather, since I like the clothing worn then more, especially over the knee boots. I need to go shopping, which I went today (amid grocery shopping) but ended up only getting a couple cam outfit items

I had knockoff uggs, they were crap, barely lasted a season before I had to throw them out. The ones I wear most often are rugged brown suede fleece lined, or my leather lace up the front fleece lined. I have a black suede over the knee pair with black fleece, so sexy. I like granny & cowboy boots too, plain black

I think Boho style is perfect for summer. I just got the latest ELLE magazine and I saw a lot of boho inspired looks featured in the editorials. Plaid seems to be a thing... plaid maxi-dresses and shirt-dresses. Lots of wide pants, long skirts, etc. I think you're right on target.

Bonus tip: If you want to wear a long skirt/dress... wear platformy wedges. Wedges are insanely comfy. I happen to wear stripper wedges out & about (gasp!), last summer I even played some basketball in my wedges! (My favorite shoes: http://tonyshoesinc.com/tony-shoes/w-513.html)

I'm have an eclectic style and just wear or buy what I like really. My style is a cross between chic and boho. I wear dresses, heels or boots and big dark glasses. The other day I realised that I only own one pair of pants, well excluding gym gear (a pair of jeans) .

are braids a yay or nay? i mean the fancy fish-boned ones or the "goddess ones", not the plain ones..or the "crowned" /"head band" ones..i just love them! i think with curls they'd look good with the whole boho look
i know its a hair question, but i didn't want to start a whole new post and it does have to do with style haha

Olive.. I was at the park the other day with my boys & this woman there caught my eye. She was wearing tight jeans, long brunette hair, high heel wedges & trying to chase her little girl around the playground. I watched her for a while because she was out of place with a group of soccer moms & kids. Yes heels

Unbeleavable-could that have possible been me? I almost always wear heels and still chase my kiddo around. We were playing tag the other day.

As for my style-jeans, t-shirt, jacket, heels. In the summer-short skirt, shirt, heels, or a dress and heels.

I wish I could be one of those girls that could wear heels every day, I guess I just feel awkward and overdressed. Sorry for the threadjack Simone lol

no threadjack at all lol, i know what you mean, I'm 5'5 so unfortunately with heels I'm usually taller than my bf it sucks!! there's always the problem of feeling overdressed especially with how casual things have gotten..

I like super girly shit sometimes paired with 90's grunge elements. Like, a lacy dress with a jacket stolen from Kurt Cobain's closet. I used to steal one of my best male friend's clothes because I like over-sized things. I would wear his light hoodies with tiny shorts, huge sunglasses, and red lipstick. I wore those textured tights for a while. One girl on campus hung her head out of her friend's car and called me a whore. (I took it as confirmation that I looked nice that day.) Off-the-shoulder tops, loose/flowing tanks, sun dresses <3 . I like heels, but I almost kill myself in them all the time. I've been wearing them since I could walk, so I don't know why I still suck so badly in them. I think I'm just uncoordinated in general. Okay, I want to go shopping now.

Honestly I'm lazy as fuck 90% of the time and wear leggings and a tshirt lol. Or if its hot just a cropped shirt and a skirt. I love being naked or in lingerie when I'm by myself. Or I often catch myself walking around topless wearing only leggings.

When I go out though, I like to wear vintage. I loooove big vintage coats, scarves, and layering. It rarely gets cold enough for that though. Most of the time, when going out, I'm in like a rockabilly dress or a high-waisted skirt and chunky boots.

Half-length t-shirts, cut up t-shirts, sweatshirts if it's chilly, and maxi skirts, short shorts, yoga pants. Rarely jeans. I just prefer things I can wear without underwear.
On my feet, usually either rainbows or ugg-type boots, sometimes vans and occasionally wedges.
