Default Weight loss supplements for the caffeine-sensitive?

I fell victim to the "get my boobs done and eat macaroni and cheese while watching Netflix for three weeks" disease, so I now need to lose weight before I get my ass back to work. I'm not sure how much I need to lose (don't own a scale), but I would guess around 15 to get back to work, then I'll just continue from there (sans mac and cheese). I've never taken supplements before, but I know I will not react well to those with caffeine. I also read that Tonalin can screw with blood sugar, so that wouldn't be good either. This page http://www.leancurves.com/top-5-stim...ss-supplements suggests a few, but I'm wary of taking something marketed in a way that avoids FDA-approval. Hydroxycut keeps coming up in my searches, but I'd really like some opinions.

Edit: Also, feel free to tell me if I'm just wasting my time with supplements. I know I don't need to lose a ton of weight, but it seems like I've had more difficulty losing/maintaining weight since switching birth controls a thousand times, so a jump start would be nice.

Green tea, but you don't want caffeine so I don't know of any other vitamins for that. Apple cider vinegar maybe?

I second that. Daily, I take green tea, biotin, dandelion root, burdock root, and then occasionally other herbs or vitamins. I just got back into doing this (took a long break), and I feel like a different person when I take these herbs. Completely different. Dandelion and burdock detox the liver, which is great for autoimmune issues.

So I think you should just experiment. Maybe buy one of these kits: and see if you are low/high in anything, and then google/research the herbs to counteract any damage. That's kind of what I did. I looked at the things I had been diagnosed with, and then researched hardcore (google, books, peer reviewed journals, forums for personal experiences, etc) how to counteract the damage with herbs/vitamins/food, and it basically worked.

If you didn't know this, many pharmaceutics are largely made up of herbs, if you can believe that. So I think herbs and a diet of no carbs (no white carbs, no sugar, and no gluten/wheat, and very low or no starches) would make the weight fall right off. I also think no red meat may help you, but some people argue otherwise. Its different for everyone of course. Oh and remember that you won't stay "thin" unless you continue eating low calorie for the rest of your life, which basically means eating mostly natural foods or starving yourself lol.

EDIT: I just googled "herbs for weight loss" and a lot of stuff came up. I would look into forums and see what has worked for other people. Forums are awesome! These articles also look promising:

Also, do you have any herbal stores around you? I have this awesome one near my childhood home and the guy behind the counter knows so much! He's like a walking herbal textbook. You can go in and tell him what you want herbs for, and he will give you several suggestions, tell you exactly how it works, and tell you the best combinations of herbs that he's seen work for people. So maybe go in and talk to someone if you don't want to do a lot of research on your own? Of course not every area has those stores I think.

Don't go to like GNC or any chain store, because I highly doubt the people behind the counter are that knowledgeable. Look for a small family-owned store. Those will be your best bet.

CLA and lots of fiber are my go to weight loss fixes.

CLA made from safflower oil. It does matter what it is made from. Female body builders use it to shed fat and cut carb cravings. I have used it with good success.

No one in America gets enough fiber without a supplement. Psyllium husk twice a day helps digestion, detox, skin appearance, and weight loss. You can buy it in a powder to sprinkle on food or drink.
After some time in the hospital I had major bloating issues from meds. This was a huge help.

    Good Luck

Thank you all. I will look into these suggestions.

And Glamour--re: autoimmune issues, I need to get back to a rheumatologist soon, but the last doctor I went to said my symptoms no longer fit "most typical presentations of MS," and that she thinks I have lupus. So I will definitely see how your suggestions go. Thanks!

If you want to know what works, what does not, safety, doses, etc from a source NOT trying to sell you their "magic" formula, see:

    https://www.stripperweb.com/forum/sh...ghlight=skinny

You can waste $$$ and time, or you can get informed and (in addition to some exercise and decent nutrition) get some cost effective results from using supplements.

    Good luck
