Skull Mohawks and other extreme 'dos

Who here has ever sported a mohawk or other crazy hair? Did your $$$ go up or down? Do you still have the style or did you change it to a more PC "stripper" look?

im curious too! im definitely getting my side shave this week, maybe funky patterns/colors on it too, there has got to be some guys out there who appreciate crazy hair instead of just boring glam "disney princess" like you said. hehe

hmmm... all the chicas I've worked with that did that, dredds or mohawks, still had fake hair over it. Might be something to try one night while travelling so you don't "scare" your regulars

The mohawk girlie was a high earner too, so I assume if she could have made the same or more without the wig she would have-- but maybe she also did it to give her some added privacy in real life so you'll just have to try and see

I have found when I have had true crazy colours my $ has gone down, vs wearing the blonde bimbo barbie look, however a couple of the clubs top earners both have one side shaved, and it doesn't seem to affect their $. They have worn it with long hair, however.
I have both sides of my head shaved now, and have done fine with this, teamed with very pale lilac or white hair and super long, pastel blue, white, pink and purple extensions the last 2 weeks. Looks like my-little-pony hair.

I run in cycles of "screw the system, I'll be how I like" and "I should try and be widely appealing to make more $". When I am looking more alt, and the right guys come in I BANK. I have a big tattoo that appeals to the alternative crowd, but if I wear that with the bimbo look, it works for almost everyone.

Having said that, Tempest, god forbid I ever end up walking into a club you are working at, or my life savings will be gone in a heartbeat.... lol.

I've seen quite a few girls in my Florida clubs with the one side shaved with long hair thing. Almost always paired with a more feminine/girly style. Maybe some tats and piercings, but pretty and girly hair, make up, and outfits. Personally I really like the look. IDK how well they do or if it hurts them, but I definitely see it.

I've never had truly wild cuts but that said i do have a flouncy pixie cut and bright green grinch color hair. the color is noticeable even under the strip club lights. my money is the same and guys seem to like it even though i work at clubs with an older conservative white and blue collar crowd.

I work with a blonde girl who has a side-shave, and the other side of her hair is kinda cut angled, like it's longest in the front (bangs) almost to her chin there. Sometimes she'll dye blue or purple streaks in it. Most people couldn't pull off a haircut but it works for her. My club is one of the more upscale clubs in Detroit, so her style is unique and her body type (she's thick for a white girl, not overweight though, well-proportioned and knows how to dance and people like that) makes her stand out. She doesn't usually to a lot of dances but she's always on top in stage tips as long as people in the club are spending money. She's a clean dancer (not many of us left in Detroit) so as far as all the clean dancers go she usually does well.

I tracked my earnings over the weekend. With the younger set I did really well in terms of dances but tips were :-/. I got an older black guy for a CR but I think it was because of my knowledge of horror cinema. He had just come from the midnight screening of the Evil Dead remake when I was going around for my tips. He said he didn't have change so I obliged him. Meanwhile I started ranting about the decline of American cinema, which led to our conversation about various horror movies from the past 30 or so years.

OT but I completely agree about the decline of American cinema (that's why I bolded part of your quote for emphasis lol)! It saddens me, because I love film but the quality of film itself has totally declined in recent times. True quality cinema is rare these days.

Saw the remake. Not bad. I don't get why everyone was saying it's disturbing. Justin Beiber and Demi Lovato are disturbing.

I had a blue mowhawk when I first started dancing and I did well at my OKC young crowd party club. I currently have a pixie and only do well with rockers/computer nerds unless I wear a wig. The difference is that now I work at upscale gown clubs.
