The best and most accurate way is to speak with the club manager. While state laws are obviously going to be the same, rules for every club are different. I wouldn't trust looking it up on the net.
Depends on the club manager though, or at least the type of club you work at. Clubs full of extra where the manager gets kick backs from the girls? Don't trust his rules.
Your best bet is to just google the local bylaws regarding exotic dancing/adult entertainment, or inquiring at the court house yourself.
I'm curious about this too. I looked up my state's laws, and they basically only say that performing sexual acts for money is not allowed. Well, duh. But then where do the ladies here come up with all the ideas like, "Don't give out your number/imply extras/go OTC with a customer, etc. because it could be considered solicitation?" I was never able to find any information like that. Is there a resource anywhere that spells out what is and isn't allowed by state in very specific terms? That would be waaaaaay more helpful.
Strip clubs generally operate under city bylaws, so that's why searching for state laws hasn't turned anything up. That's where you get the hazy notions of what counts as solicitation or indecent exposure; it's the past arrests/court cases that clarify them somewhat.

Yes, try city. Both cities I dance in have different rules. Prostitution isn't directly mentioned but is obviously illegal, so of course soliciting won't fly. Some cities have a very bored police force/prostitution issues/beef with a club owner, so they go into clubs looking for prostitution.
"People jack off with the left hand and point with the right."
"You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave."

I'm going to take this a step further, and point out that club 'rules' versus state and local laws don't necessarily jive with each other. Or put another way, between the particulars of lewd contact laws, of prostitution laws, etc. it's entirely possible that SOP club contact levels etc. aren't actually legal !!! In many cases, club 'rules' cover situations which are WAY beyond the limit of the law, but do not cover situations which are technically illegal but not usually prosecuted.
I actually found out about one of these legal technicalities the hard way. I was featuring in a distant state, and local bible thumper opposition to the clubowner didn't appreciate his strip club advertising a feature all over local media. So I wound up being ( bogusly ) busted. It turned out that, under the technicalities of local prostitution laws, if two dancers are on stage at the same time, and if one dancer happens to touch the other dancer's breast, while customers are simultaneously tipping at the rail, this meets all of the technical requirements for a prostitution charge !!! I beat the ( bogus ) bust on appeal, but doing so cost me 2-3 times as much money as I had earned from the feature gig.
The moral of the story is that following club 'rules' is no guarantee that you won't ever be busted. What's actually far more important is having a 'read' on the local situation i.e. how well the club / clubowner 'gets along with' local law enforcement, with the local community etc.
^So very true! My city is officially no contact whatsoever. In reality though, the club rules offer very high contact (basically touching everywhere but the kitty), and you will not make a dime trying to follow the actual bylaw. However, local law enforcement gets along well with all of the local club owners, so we never have raids or busts or anything. As long as no drugs are involved, they happily let us allow all of this touching.
^yep! Spending an afternoon at City Hall might help you win a stripper trivia game, but if you actually want to cover your ass (figuratively, of course), a better tactic would be just to make friends with your local cops, lawyers, judges, managers, bouncers, etc.
