Default saying i am single to customers?

Hi guys!!! I have a question about what customers would prefer to hear from a dancer when they ask me if I am single or have a boyfriend? Should I say I do if I do not? I have so far said I am single but I am worried that makes a weird impression on guys who would rather date me than get dances?? What would you prefer to hear to this question and does the dancer's response make a difference in your deison to buy dances? Thank you

I never ask if a dancer is single or married, or otherwise involved. I would rather not know one way or the other. It's a mystique thing I guess. The less I know about her personal life, the more the fantasy is maintained. More often than not, however, they tend to insert this nugget of info somewhere in our convo, and for what it's worth, I think they do it to tell me in no uncertain terms that they are not available and/or not there to date men. Which I already know before I walk in the door.
I would rather the subject not be brought up in the first place. If she says she is single (without any prodding from me), then I am going to automatically think that she is trying to get me to think that she is available for me to chase (with my money). If she says she is involved and/or married (again without any prompting questions from me), I am going to automatically think that SHE thinks I am trying to hit on her. Either way the fantasy fizzles out somewhat.

I think the answer should fit your needs to hustle, sometimes it maybe good to be single & others with a boyfriend. Even if you say your with someone guys are going to want to be with you anyway. I use to have a joke with my ex, I would ask her how many guys told you they had boats last night because it seemed she was asked every night to go out on their boat & be taken care of....lol

Any answer can work for you or against you in different situations. Some guys will spend loads of cash on you if they think that you are single and available for OTC dating. Others who aren't interested in that won't care. Then there are mileage hounds who think that a dancer with a husband or BF won't put out as much in the champagne room. Is any of this thought process realistic? Well, no but customers are seldom realistic about anything when it comes to dancers. I have a long time fave who always has cheap-ass ex husband and two kids anytime a customer asks. She actually has no kids but that's her excuse for turning guys down when they want her to see them after work. "Gotta get home to my kids!" The cheap-ass ex who doesn't give her enough money to support the kids (that she doesn't have) is how she gets sympathy-and more dances-from guys.

I'm not suggesting you should make shit up but, honestly, you wouldn't be the first dancer to create a back-story that worked to her advantage. Try to avoid multiple stories however. Sooner or later you will get your stories mixed up and that could cost you a customer.

Trixie, I agree with the notion shared by our esteemed CC Moderators that the reaction that you get to any answer is going to depend entirely upon the person you are dealing with. However, the reality is that you will often have to answer this question within moments of meeting someone, so you will have little time to realistically assess your mark. IMHO single is almost always the preferable answer as there are too many guys who will react poorly to attached/engaged/married for too many reasons to enumerate (some of which yoda outlined). Now that is not to say that you cannot embellish later, but it is hard to take back married/engaged once you've said it.

    In any event, good luck!

I personally couldn't care less whether the dancer is married or not. Similarly I don't care whether they have children or not. Not sure why this information would come up during a normal conversation in a strip club.

Guys, these questions are asked all the time by both dancers and customers. Trixxie was not polling the group to determine who does or does not care about her relationship status, but rather about how to respond to the many guys who do care and do ask.

Tell them that you have a girlfriend/wife at home.
Half will be turned on and spend money and the other half will be threatened and leave.
    Roll that dice, baby!!!!!

I don't ask, I don't care. But it does make me feel uncomfortable to see a big diamond engagement/wedding ring set during my lap dance. (So I don't look at the left hand that much, LOL!)
