Also a clearance idles require renewal. For TS it's after 5 years. Don't get too comfy thinking you won't get found out. Best policy is to tell the truth, if you lie you will be denied/have your clearance revoked.

I applied for the CST program back in 2011! Good for you. (I was accepted but my unit wouldn't release me because they were shitbags.) My experience is that Bragg hates women, their bodies, and their sexuality, and I would expect them to basically treat you like Satan if they knew you had so much as stepped foot in a strip club. As for omitting stripping for the clearance... I got a secret clearance in like, 2009 and from what I recall of it, you will be asked to name all of your employment for the past 7 years or whatever. Lying on it is a really bad idea. I don't know, girl, I'd really play it safe and maybe apply for one of those service member hardship loans or whatever if you need money that badly.
AHHHH thanks so much!! So awesome to hear from someone who knows exactly what I'm talking about. I'm so sorry your unit wouldn't release you! Did you do selection and everything? So I already have a secret clearance because I'm a medic. Do you know if CST does an additional clearance?
They accepted my application but, no, I didn't get to go to selection. My unit blew chunks, though. Anyway, I had a secret clearance for my MOS like you, and I didn't need to apply for anything beyond that.
Reading this thread makes me want to re-enlist and re-apply for the CST program. It's just so effing awesome!
