Pretty sure there's no money in modeling except for porn. And even then, work is hard to come by, so most girls just do porn to promote their camming, dancing, or escort work.

If your goal is to get great images for your portfolio you can find work on ModelMayhem, FetLife, etc. (Not stripper $, but some models do tour / pay for vacation travel, etc.) You need to want to do it, have a positive attitude and work hard. Creative energy. Check portfolios and references, there are lots of posers and GWCs so make sure portfolios displayed are worthy of your time and talent (and the work is really the photographer's!) The more looks, the better images you show, the better photographers you will attract, lots of killer images are produced via 'TFP' (Time For Prints, Time for CD) that would cost a fortune if you just hired a name photographer. Watch out for creeps, there are websites that GWCs trade techniques to get girls to get naked for them - and some 'real' photographers are primadonnas also...There are also legitimate sites like Meetup where groups of serious amateur photographers hire a model for an afternoon...
thnx for the advice![]()

Model Mayhem, Star Now etc are great if you want to do TFP to build your portfolio (there are some paid gigs advertised or offered, but usually to those with experience). If you have (or when you have a portfolio or a few professional pics) you can apply to agencies. Or, if you are interested you could try being a Promotional Model (short shifts, easy work, good pay).
