Default What you wear to dance in

I'm curious to see what different people choose as outfits to wear on stage. As a newbie I'd like some ideas, but I thought this might be good for anyone. I know it depends on what the club's dress code is but I'll show you some items I've come across that I like a lot!

I love the top outfit. Id be wary as to how the feather skirt will hold up & the chaps..i rarely see girls wear em & dont know how crazy the guys would be for em.
Alota girls at my club wear bikinis & i actually try to cover up a little more, i think it adds to the mystery. When i look at outfits i usually think of em in 3 song sets...what will i take off first, second..?
I like the look your goin for, kinda sultry alternative.

oooh i LOVE the chaps!! i think they may get pretty hot and sweaty though dancing.. i agree with janesays about the feather skirt, it wouldn't hold up at all..you'll develop your own style after awhile, i used to just do the cute little plain tube dress/cocktail dress and then moved to sexy school girl/plaid two pieces/lots of lace two pieces and then wear bright fishnets, thigh high boots or bright hair flowers to jazz it up. i think it helps to stand out and wear colors that pop under the black light just be sure they are easy to take off and bend and move in.

right, I see you in a sexy long gown (not overly fancy/fussy though) maybe red, split up the side? Personally, I don't like those chaps.

I wore a lot of two-price sets: small skirt and a bra top. Always made money in those. I've found wearing too little doesn't make you much $$ but wearing too much also doesn't make you a lot. Skimpy dresses and two piece outfits that cover always made me the most. A thing and skimpy top always hurt my money.

I've seen Girls wear chaps and they've done ok. Depends on your hustle style. have your outfits match your hustle and you'll do fine.

Don't bother buying anything more than simple until you've actually started or have a few shifts under your belt. Seeing what the other girls wear and the customers seem to respond to will be invaluable, and it varies club to club. Keep in mind that it's good to stand out but not in a bad way - like, don't rock the chaps if all the girls are wearing gowns. For now, just keep it simple. A lot of the stuff you like as a newbie you likely won't like later on when you learn what works best for you in your club.

I have LOADS of dancewear outfits in all different colours but my all time favourite money maker is a really cheap basic dress from Leg Avenue with a lace underwear set underneath:

The only problem is I wore it that much I had to buy a new one cos it looked worn out

Keep it simple and practical (things that are easy to get on and off!), plain (not too alternative) and feminine . When you start, you'll get an idea of what does and doesn't for you as well what your club's dress code is (and what "the norm" in the club is).

Right, & I like the last gown, not sure how it'd look under black lights, if club has them. A lot of clubs have rules about see thru stuff, & you don't want to 'give away the goods' in a visual right away..

It kind of depends on how things look on your body and if you can remove them easily or not while dancing. BTW I loooove the feather skirt! So cute!

I would get something with a bit more color that flatters your body type. If you have a great stomach, wear a bikini set. If you want to accentuate your ass, wear a supershort skirt + top.

Just remember, men in the club are like fish in the sea. You have to fish with a bright lure so they can see you in the dark. You want to be noticeably brighter than all of the other worms!

this is true, brighter colors are better and I love bikini sets when my stomach looks good but I cannot lie I have been slacking lately and my stomach doesnt look so good rt now so I am thinking about trying to find some zip up corsets, you know so they can be easily taken off or put back on. But where do you find these? I never see them, and on the off chance I do see them there usually punky or goth style which isnt me. Anyone know? Also any other suggestions on what to wear when you dont really wanna show off the stomach?

Oooh! This girl at my club wears something like this and when she's on stage, she just moves the sides over so her boobs are out. Pair it with a sparkly necklace, and glamorous hair and makeup, and voila! She totally rocks it and everyone just thinks she looks really awesome, not that she's trying to cover up!

The top is hot, the feathers might end up all over the club, and a lot of guys love chaps but they're a pain if you gotta take them off and might be hot (like sweaty)
