    Default Blisters!

So I only took a month off of work and now that I've been working for the past 3 days, my feet are covered in blisters!

They got to the point yesterday that I had to limp back to my car after requesting to leave mid-shift. Not cool.

So... what do I do with them? I had to pop them (gross, I know) to be able to walk properly. I have been cleaning them and applying ointment religiously, but they still hurt like hell.

Aw, I hate that! I had 3 months off, came back with sparkly new shoes and ended up with them after my first night back gr (not as bad as your blisters by the sounds of things, poor thing !).

Sadly, it's something you just have to take a pain killer for and "wait out" .

Keep the area clean by using an antiseptic on it and let them have some air when ever possible so that they can dry up and heal faster. Other than that, I just used bandaids at work so as not to exacerbate the wounds (it relieved a little friction and kept out the SC nastiness) and alternated shoes. You can buy bandaids (plasters) especially for blisters from the chemist-they might be worth a try. Wearing bandaids and stocking or socks over your feet at work helps lessen the friction too.

Aloe vera helps promotes healing and rose hip seed oil minimizes scarring, in you are worried about that.

Also, you aren't supposed to remove the flap of skin covering the blister after you pop it . I guess it opens up the wound (the "flap" probably protects the sensitive skin underneath).

Hope you feel better soon x

Sometimes switching heels out between two different pairs for the night helps!

These are horrible. I remember getting them as a newb to the point where my feet were bleeding. Hope your feet feel better /:

dermoplast spray $8.00 at any drug store - has antiseptic - soothing / healing - and pain relief - good for sun burns or any burn - bug bites and all kinds of stuff - my daughter told me about it after having a baby the hospital gave to her for her episiotomy stitches - it is awesome stuff - and get some mole skin to prevent rubbing and re-irritating it - good luck and sorry
