I need help with this. Do I just go up and talk to the customers about life then ask if they want a dance or what? Help.

Read Hustle Hut. The purpose of that subforum is to answer your question, and answered it has certainly been many times.

Yeah, that ^ Have you even read Hustle Hut at all?
My quick and easy hustle, sans proper punctuation/capitalization: "Is this lap taken/why you hiding back here/other witty opening line; what's your name? I'm Selina, what brings you in today? just off work? what do you do? that's interesting, *branch off using their job somehow*"
That's literally how I hustle every single customer (except party guys, there are tons of threads on those dudes), and as long as I spend 2-3 songs chatting, I have a 90% close rate. Just chat long enough that they don't see you as a "wanna dance" girl.
"People jack off with the left hand and point with the right."
"You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave."
Stick with light-hearted, flirtatious small talk. In order to be interesting, be interested. Get him talking and keep him talking. Give him your complete attention. Lean in, gaze into his eyes, SMILE and nod as he's speaking. Laugh at his (lame) jokes. Give honest compliments. Touch him.
Avoid talking about yourself too much. Talk about him and whatever he's interested in.
Don't sit and chat for too long because it gets more difficult to close.

yeah..pretty much..ask a few simple questions like what their name is, where are they from, what brought them in tonight, do they come here often..keep it somewhat relevant to the situation so you don't butt in asking for a dance while they are going on about their mother's funeral or trip to aruba..that gets akward. play with your hair, ALWAYS smile, touch them lightly when asking..read the stickies in hustle hut and taylor it to your own style

"True sexiness has many facets-confidence, strength, intelligence, and humor. It isn’t just about trying to look sexy; it’s an art and one becomes skillful in it when she realizes that there are all these conflicting elements that all come together to make something magical"-Dita Von Teese

when you are new it is just better to introduce yourself and then ask if they want a dance. ask everyone. youll figure out conversation later.

"I'm already naked"

^^ Fwahaha, branching off that, if you are cutesy enough or funny about it, lines like that will work. There was one girl on SW that would say "Hi, I'm Jess and these are boobs, wanna see them?!" and said it worked like a charm.
Also, agreed with Addison that laughing is good; even better if you can make them laugh. I've found that if you get them to laugh a few times, you'll get at least one dance. Joking makes you the cool, laidback stripper - that's the angle I play up a lot... I'm a natural "guys girl", sarcastic and funny, so I stand out from the cute bubbly girls.
Asking for the dance: Personally, I tend to ask about other strip clubs they go to, etc., shit like "so are you a boob or an ass man?", to steer the conversation back to the dance area. Sometimes I don't do this, I'll just wait for a pause in conversation and casually say "So are you ready for some dances?" Depends on the dude.
And last tip, saying "some dances" REALLY increases your multiple dance sales; you've already planted the idea, they've already agreed to plural "dances", vs. just "a dance".
"People jack off with the left hand and point with the right."
"You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave."
1 minute of "hi"+ getting to know you
1 minute of "awww you're so cute/ funny/ i like your shirt, etc"
1 minute of "i suddenly feel so hot for you, lets go for a dance! or else i will have to find someone else to play with"
And then you must leave, with or without him. There are many reasons why it's a bad idea to sit too long with a customer.
Practice makes perfect! Good luck!

Bumpies for this, great tips!
MANY MEN WANTED TO LAY ME DOWN, BUT FEW WANTED TO LIFT ME UP
-Eartha Kitt
i also like to come up with a play on words or a semi-cheesy line for my name when introducing myself. i have had an X in all my dancer names so when people ask me my name, I can tell them it stands for XXX. so for felix, it means lucky. do you want to get lucky tonight?
i like these vague, semi-leading you on questions as well because they work on good guys and bad ones alike. for the sleazy ones, if they try to fondle me or solicit me for sexual favors, i can usually just take their cash and walk away.

I'm here and already naked. You don't want to inconvienience me do you? (Can be used threateningly or cutesy depending on customer)
