Default NYC Dancers: How do You Keep Your Stuff Safe?

Just wondering how you keep your items safe during your shift, especially if there isn't a locker room

If you work somewhere with no locker rooms, how do you stop other people from stealing your things?

Even if you lock your things in a suitcase, what's to stop someone from stealing your suitcase??

I was thinking of applying to flashdancers but i read that there are no lockers and everything is put in the public bathroom. Not that I think I'm above that, but if someone ever stole my things I'd be stranded!

TSA Locks and a bag with double zippers. Usually, a housemom/staff member watches over people's belongings.

The likelihood of a customer taking your suitcase is minimal. Someone would notice if a customer is leaving with a big-ass bag.

I worked at flash and never had anything stolen. I had a lock on my bag and always kept it near the house mom and not the back corner. I have heard about people getting their phones stolen and once a girl had her jeans stolen. Just make sure everything is in your bag and locked. What do you mean you will be stranded? Like car keys? You could always tip mom extra to hold it for you or wear one key around your wrist.

Edit: no one is bold enough to steal a suitcase, it's usually small stuff. Also at flash all the girls go into the dressing room at the same time so you will be able to see. The only time people were missing stuff they always assumed it was girls from the other shift since they are kinda strict about not hanging out in the dressing room
