they were about $250 and guys can see them from across the club. they look really nice and luxurious. aand in my experience, it's a great conversation starter for the GUYS because it gives them a reason to talk to me:"wow! i've never seen heels like that, those are gorgeous!" etc. over the top heels are less intimidating than an over the top outfit, i feel like.

i'll pair those with a mini dress, something simple but polished.

in my nice but i would say mid-tier club (where girls basically never wear gowns, all mini dresses or long skirt sets), that's what makes me the most money.

also, i ordered a pair of heels from glitterheels.com today, i'm excited to get them and try them out. with shipping they were $100 (less than half of these pleaser bejeweled) and since there's no rhinestones i won' thave to worry about htem falling off, like they eventually started to do with the heels above ^^.
Ha! I've been wanting those for forever, for some reason I haven't bought them. But their price keeps raising!

Thanks for this thread. I have been tossing up whether to spend money on a peacock feather skirt. Now I'm thinking, even though I love it, doesn't mean the custies will go for it! I saw a girl on Entourage at the strip club wearing a feather skirt and ever since then have wanted one......

Maybe I'll invest in gorgeous shoes instead, especially after hearing the bejeweled ones get a good reaction.

after about a year of dancing, i started wearing the exact same outfit every day. blond teased pigtails, lacy black thong, black leather bra with molded cups, and these really outrageous boots, and i soon became a top earner. i'm about to try it again but i'm curious if it will go over anywhere else since i worked at a rock/alternative club.

i also invested in my body, spending a lot of time researching things like vitamins and skincare, diet, hair, makeup, etc. made sure i was always perfectly manicured and always did my hair. that's when i made the most money.

I'll drop some $ for gowns, when I need them. I'm really flat chested and when I always have to have my gowns altered or custom made so I don't look like a board wrapped in spandex. But, I don't buy expensive outfits for non-gown clubs. Don't see the point.

I kinda skipped to the bottom of the thread without reading about spending $, after a boob job. If I got a boob job (or if I had boobs) I would dress those babies up! I would definitely drop some cash on outfits after a BA. That would be fun!

Are expensive stripper outfits worth it? Hell to the NO. First of all, stripper outfits are made out of cheap material. It doesn't last. I use to be that stripper...the one kept buying $200 stripper outfits. But not only do I make more money in "normal" sexy outfits, they are cheaper AND LASTS WAY LONGER.

Depends.....if it is some piece you can get at the stripper store for $20 cheaper than the costume lady, then no it's not worth it. But if it is a quality piece that fits you really well or has been custom made, then yeah it is worth it. Also if you see something you REALLY like buy multiples.

I've seen a LOT of nice stuff on Etsy.com and eBay. Cute custom stuff too. I'm going to start looking into buying body harnesses too from there. ^_^

Oh a body harness is something like this:
    https://www.etsy.com/listing/1287917...c+body+harness

It can be made of chain, leather, cloth or elastic (I prefer elastic). I think it just adds oomph, just like a corset or pair of stockings.

I got a lingerie set from La Perla in 2009 in black lace, it was very expensive but it still looks like new and I have used it m i l l i o n s of times, so yes definitely worth it! But its not worth doing it all the time...I used to buy loads and loads of stripper dresses and use a different outfit every day (also change outfits during the night...). That was definitely not worth it, I wish I hadnt. Guys arent really into them.

I actually make most money in my slightly mis-matched black and white striped swimsuit. (pro-tip: the top I got at a thrift store for $2 and it's obviously hand-made)

I still love "professional" stripper clothes, but in my experience my body just doesn't fill them out right.

I have problems buying the outfits on a lot of websites because most of the models are at least a high C cup, and I'm not. Not to mention that more often than not they look to have had a BA and my gravity-induced sag doesn't seem to fill out things in the same manner. So I stick with a lot of tri tops, they're just convenient and there's no underwire to dig into my ribcage.

Personally I dont think I have ever bought a "dancer outfit".I think they are really over priced, most of my outfits cost under $20.
I totally agree with this. Normally a guy likes a huge, inviting smile or a sweet, seductive stare that will be burned into the back of his scull. The attitude totally follows into the way you flirt with the crowd and interact with customers.

Veteran dancer here for 9 years and the top earner at almost every club I work - No, don't waste money on outfits. It's your hustle that makes you money not outfits!

You can buy something cheap, glue some rhinestones/sequins then tailor it to fit you perfectly. I did that with a mini dress. Looks hot and like a well made stripper dress.

I'm very picky with what I wear, & most of the time will pay what ever the price if i love it and it looks worth it. That's more custom made stuff though. I hate cheap looking stuff and also do not like to have what everybody else has....hate that shit.

So if it's custom made well, different(no one has it) and hot. Yes. It's worth the investment. I'm gonna feel great and attract what I like.

I think investing time and thought into what you wear can be very worth it.

Finding things that fit well and make you feel awesome is the key.

A big plus 1 for customizing pieces yourself.

There are all kinds of fantastic glitzy, glittery, rhinestoned fabrics at sewing/craft/fabric shops.
Even taking a plain white headband and making a few strings of rhinestone beads and gluing it on can help you stand out from across the club. You feel awesome because you made it and know no one else has it, plus it can be really fun to get all crafty!
I have added shiny ribbon to bra straps and underwires. glued on some crystals and banked, I think more because I felt awesome!
