Got a pack of these at the store this week, because I am a cheapskate, and my non-disposable razor's cartridges are ridiculously expensive. I figured - hey, at worst, I'll go get the expensive cartridges later and just use these for my legs.
Some background - I am fairly prone to ingrowns and razor burn in the bikini area, so finding a razor that doesn't tear me up has been a challenge. To compare razors, I always shave with water only, since this is sometimes how I have to shave when I am in a rush before work.
This razor does not pull, even against the grain, even without a lubricant like shaving cream, lotion, or conditioner. This is the first razor I have ever used that manages this. The shave I got with water only with this razor was as close or closer than my more expensive razor WITH shaving cream/lotion. Even in that tricky area right at the edge of the inner hairline (which I had previously given up on shaving), the shave was fairly close - I can still feel the stubble in that area if I run my hand against the grain, but I can't see it at all.
The only downside I noticed was that the razor doesn't get as close as I would like in the crease of the inner thigh. I'm hoping I can get closer with shaving cream/lotion, since that part is exposed by my thong at work, and I feel like it will be visible if the stage light hits it. It's also a fairly big razor, so it takes some experimentation to get it into narrow spaces like the butt-crack.
Finished up the shave with witch-hazel and deoderant. Probably the best shave I've gotten, and a pretty decent value at $8 for 5 razors (and I've read some user reviews that these can last up to a month even shaving every other day).
