I took about 7 months off and all I wanted to do was eat. When I work I don't have an appetite...I can go 2-3 days with only one meal. I have no desire to eat and I don't get hungry. Does anyone else have this problem?

me too!! exactly. when i work ill eat once in ten hours..im not sure if its that im too busy hustling to think about it, or the place makes me lose my appetite. i've always had a finicky appetite though, if im stressed or busy ill forget

No...wanna swap? The more I work (or work out) the hungrier I seem to be (not while I'm at work, but after and the next day). It's strange that you have lost your appetite-make sure you try to eat regularly though, because if you are working a lot on an empty tank you could physically burn out
. It could be a reaction to emotion or stress?

If you go long periods of time without eating, it can make you feel less hungry. Try to at least have snacks every now and then to keep a healthy appetite and get nutrients. Or you could try drinking more calories - protein drinks, etc for when you are not hungry enough for a real meal.
Good ol' weed increases your appetite too.

When I'm stressed, very sad, or angry (usually by outside of work events, but work itself can be stressful) it's hard for me to eat. And Nina_ is right, if you don't eat much for a long enough period of time, your body will get used to eating that little. I used to eat soooo much more, and used to crave really unhealthy things, but after some stressful times I do eat less and that is the one semi-good thing that came out of it (good for me just cause I tend to be bigger) but if you are naturally thin then you definitely need to eat. I mean you need to eat either way. Maybe try meal replacement shakes for now because drinking is easier than actually sitting there, chewing, and swallowing the food.
I'd also like to add that sometimes you don't realize how stressed you really are. Like your mind may still be able to function normally, and just your body is suffering, and sometimes just the normal nights (nothing in particular that you would classify as stressful) can still wear you down.

I also have this problem. I'm finding about every 6-8 weeks I'm loosing my appetite and having trouble eating. It is a reaction to stress and it really interferes with my workouts. Normally I eat 5 or 6 small meals through the day, but I have alot of anxiety and I am worried that I might faint or have a bad reaction if I keep the same workout routine without eating.
Outside of work, when you totally loose your appetite, make sure you are still drinking lots of water to stay hydrated and if you don't take a good multivitamin daily, you might want to start. Eat toast, apple sauce and cooked oatmeal without adding sugar(personally when I loose my appetite, strong tastes-especially sweet tastes makes me want to vomit). Also soda crackers and soup for when you feel kind of hungry.
For work, I can have a piece of fruit on the way there, and I'll have a meal replacement shake once during the shift when I have time.

Luckily it takes under a minute to chug it and get the money maker back out there. It sounds terrible, but sometimes it takes me a while to get to the bathroom to go pee too

I used to drink Slimfasts like they were going out of style. I had one every day before my shift and then a meal after my shift. I think I need to get back into that habit. Thanks girls for making me feel better. I was worried!

By the way, salads are good too. Gotta eat right ven if you don't feel like it
