There are some older threads on here about perfume (both personal use and work use), but I want a new thread on the topic.
So we all know by now (hopefully) that customers don't like strong perfumes, because they don't want to leave the club smelling like adulterers. That said, I think it's good to smell like *something* other than just your natural body scent. Some guys are into the no-scent thing, but I think most guys want dancers to have a clean, light scent that won't rub off on them but still smells pleasant.
So, do YOU wear perfume at work that guys seem to really dig? Or some kind of lotion or fresh-smelling deodorant? And on that note, what do you use for hairspray (which can be the most strippery smell of all if you use a strong-smelling brand)?
Lately I've been wearing nothing. I get compliments on the lack of perfume (I don't really smell like anything when I don't wear anything), but I'd like to get compliments like "you smell amazing, and thanks for not wearing a strong perfume!"

Nothing heavy.
-I'm a VERY "law abiding" dancer, but that is a stripper sin I commit! I get away with it because I don't douse myself in it. Usually I just spray or dab it on my pressure points at the beginning of my shift, or top up if necessary and use a deodorant if I feel self conscious throughout the night (i.e. if I've had an energetic stage set, during summer).
. I would NEVER work without anything on-but a lot of the time hair products (a lot of these smell fresh and pretty), tan and a roll on or spray on deodorant are enough to cover up the smell of the smoke machines, spilt drinks (from that annoying customer you get once in a while that spills beer on you accidentally gr?!), tan, sweaty stripper-ness and general SC smells.
. Personally, I like having a "token scent" and not wearing the same perfume as everyone else (so many girls in OZ wear Britney and while it's a great stripper smell-it's not for me. It just doesn't suit me).
