I can't stand girls who drape their sweatshirts over the chairs or put their bags on the chairs so no one else will sit there. (I sit there anyways and move their stuff over) When I come to work there is literally one chair that doesn't have a sweatshirt draped over it.

    YES!

Every time. I have a locker that I can put my money in, the housesmom/dad is around, and there are cameras everywhere, but even then something terrible could still happen. I'm fully aware that it's a stupid/dangerous thing to do, but I have no other options aside from DWI.

*Smoking in the DR (I'm a non smoker and it makes my hair smell!)
*Girls taking up more space than they need
*Girls who sit there and complain constantly. We all have slow nights and sometimes we aren't in the mood, but I'm a big believer in positive thinking and negativity annoys me, it's not helpful, so I remove myself form the situation.
    *Stealing!
*The way SC DR's are NEVER clean-even if the get cleaned, after one night, the floor is sticky and the benches are messy again

    Managers in the dressing room...

Stinky food in the dressing room...

Random girls asking to borrow clothing... I'll happily lend out stuff to gals I know and trust... that doesn't mean some random import from (insert random State name here) should expect me to clothe her dumb ass.

Cunty housemoms or make-up "artists" that insist on talking shit or being mean to dancers...

PETS! Do not bring your pets to work! PLEASE!!!

I can't stand the way the dressing room is set up. Every time we have a busy night when there are lot of couples, female customers come in and out of our dressing room to use the bathroom. I know the only bathroom for female customers is in our DR but it still irks me when they sit around, take up space (we have a small room), and try to make drunk chit-chat with us. I never leave the room without my stuff locked up.

Annoying thing I used to do was bring a medium-large suitcase with me. It was clunky and took a lot of space. I finally 'downgraded' to a tote. It works out a lot better for me. Otherwise I always try to stay out of the DR.

I have a really tiny dressing room, but there are enough "stations" for every girl because we always have a set amount. I can't STAND it when I pick whatever station and a girl getting off shift is standing right next to me. Not picking up her stuff, not fixing her make up, not talking to me, just standing there in silence within an inch and a half of me. I just want her out of my space so I can get ready!

Since you all mentioned most of the things that annoy me in the DR, I will add something else-

It annoys me when management/staff/other girls don't take care of the DR- toilets broken, no toilet paper in the stalls, sink broken, no paper towels by the sink, girls' old crap in the showers (half-used shampoos, sponges and used razors on the floor), random old laundry and trash lying around, gross shit on the counters/ chairs.

Ugh, I feel so sorry for you. Drunk female custies are bad enough without them invading your dressing room. We very occasionally get a girl who is an ex dancer/bar girl/cosy with management come use the DR toilet to do coke. They're usually off their faces and it's SO SO obvious what they're doing. Thankfully it doesn't happen often.

I worked at a club like that in Tampa. I agree, it was super annoying.

Yesss, I hate it when any male managers/bouncers even walk through the dressing room. Even if they appear professional and not like they're perving on girls getting changed, there's no way they aren't sneaking peeks!

Hair spray, ey? I used to work with someone who was a constant drama starter and backstabber, who used to spray with a purpose of getting it on others and BRAG about it. Some people love to cause problems.

I'd grab my trumpet and I'd do a stripper sound, like the old Louis Armstrong, real raspy. And the people would go nuts! Then I knew that the sexual, sensual, guttural sound, that throbbing sound, is where it's at.

Most of my peeves have already been listed, but here's a couple that really get under my skin:

New girls who have nvr danced before, or have just switched to my club, bringing their non-dancer girlfriends in the DR w/ them while they get ready, 'for moral support.' Seriously, if you need one of your girlfriends to hold your hand, or if the friend is 'uncomfortable' waiting out in the club for you, then one or both of you might be in the wrong place.

In the same vein, customers (esp male) who are big spenders & thus 'good friends' of mgmt coming into the dressing room to hang out. For fucks sake you entitled-ass jackwagons, you have a whole bloody club to treat as your own personal playground. Stay the fuck out of the DR. That's the one place dancers are supposed to be able to have just for ourselves.

When I first started dancing, a dancer advised me to spend as little time as possible in the dressing room - saying it is a waste of time and totally toxic. I never really took her advice, but I wish I did. I come to work made up so only need the DR to change and then touch up my makeup - but some nights I feel anxious, like I can't face the crowd just yet, and I end up spending too much time down there. What a horrible environment.
I hate being asked for wipes/tampons - get organized, you are grown women. But I do still help out.
I hate when girls smoke - smoking is not allowed anywhere inside the club, but some girls light up constantly. However, I like bringing my drink there and technically we aren't supposed to do that either...
I've overheard some really disturbing conversations about abuse & pimps, fraud etc. depends on the type of club though.
I don't like when girls ask me to watch their stuff! I trust no one, why would they trust me?
Territorial girls - anyone who feels entitled because they work more frequently or have a clique - some girls just go out of their way to make others feel unwelcome.

Exactly! It is much better to solve any issues through good direct communication. It yields much better results!

Loose hair (real or weave) on the floor!! It's so gross. If you brush your hair and have fallout, throw it in the trash can...not on the floor! Girls at my club are notorious for this, and the hair will get tangled with one another and turns into huge hair balls on the floor. And with tile floors like our it stands out that much more. So nasty. X(

Communal brushes..... CAKED with hair (real or fake, who cares?)... are irritating. But I just clean them off and wad the mass of strands up before tossing it into the trash can. Meh. Hair.

Be thankful the Hair-Tumbleweeds rolling around your dressing room don't stick to your heels and end up on the stage when you're nekkid. Be afraid... be very afraid.

The general manager at my club sometimes hangs out in the dressing room... I find him extremely offensive. The other night, he came in, used our bathroom (no doors) then sat on a stool right outside the bathrooms.. I had to pee really bad, but didn't want to do it when he was right there. Especially not when he was talking about female body parts and how some women's vaginas "stick out and look like roast beef". That's just so fucking rude and offensive; and to hear that while I'm taking a piss; I can't even... ugh...

I don't like when girls excessively spray perfume or hairspray because it physically makes me gag. Other than that, nothing in the dressing room really annoys me. The girls at my club give me no problems.

When I'm getting ready, I look for anyone around to start chatting with about anything and everything. I get really social with the girls and I'm sure some of them may get annoyed when I want to "hang out" and finish talking before hitting the floor.
