I will be stripping soon, and I have very acne prone skin...not necessarily acne at the moment, but just anytime I put product on my face, it goes haywire.
I'm fine with a bit of concealer and full eye makeup...is this enough?
Thank you!!

Have you tried a mineral makeup/powders? I am guessing that your idea of a full eye doesn't match up to my definition of a full eye. If I had my "full eye" on and no foundation I would probably look at bit weird.
What kind of make up are you using? There's some great brands out there that might not cause you to break out. I've had acne prone skin myself, and I really like Dermablend's foundation.

You should find out the clubs rules regarding makeup. Some require it and others don't. IME customers either prefer a "natural" face (read: light makeup) or don't care. Really it comes down to what makes you feel comfortable and confident.
Full eye makeup to me is everything but fake lashes (so heavy eyeshadow, and eyeliner, with tons of mascara and eyebrows filled in.)
I suppose when my regimen clears up absolutely everything I can use some minerals, like everyday minerals perhaps? Most things like Pur, and BareMinerals break me out intensely!!
Partly I just HATE feeling makeup on my skin. It's been a huge trigger for anxiety since I was a young teen. Also I have cheek piercings and nose piercings and dislike when they cake around or onto the jewelry.![]()
I think you do if you have bad skin. Hopefully you can find something that works for you. I used mineral makeup once during the big craze about ten years ago. I didn't like it. MACs Face and Body foundation is light. Maybe you can try a BB cream or a tinted moisturizer. I am lazy and sleep in my makeup almost all the time. Maybe you need to take better care to take your makeup off. Cleaning, exfoliating and moisturizing.
Like Strippername said, maybe a BB cream is in order and make sure you are using good stuff to remove your makeup. I can get zits from my leftover eye makeup traveling down my face while I sleep. I escort and use a Skin79 BB cream, fake eyelashes and a thick cat eye. I remove it with DHC cleansing oil followed by a mild foaming cleanser. These things are really good for getting the makeup out of your pores and exfoliating (I use it more than my Clarisonic) :

I couldn't imagine dancing without make up. The lights make even drag queen style make up look natural so I would imagine no foundation would be a big no no and a sure way to look washed out...

Oh man, I hate foundation and powder. It makes me break out, it feels weird( I hate the feeling of makeup on my skin), and it really is not condusive to heavy stage dancing every hour. I usually do bold lipstick and very thin eyeliner with mascara. The combination looks nice on bare skin. If I'm having a really terrible skin day I'll use brightening gel. Smokey eyes sans foundation are tricky. I find that bronzer warms me up so I don't look washed out when doing smokey eyes. However, I hate the way bronzer feels too so I only do smokey eyes or full eye makeup every once in a while![]()

if you have really amazing skin then i guess you could get away with no foundation..but for the rest of us with not-so-perfect skin and blotches/redness/pimples/uneven skin tone its a must. maybe a dermo could recommend some kind of makeup good for your skin, but i'd recommend foundation, yes. doesn't have to be powder, but at least a thin layer of liquid

no you dont have to. I know lots of girls that don't and they look fine.

I wouldn't recommend going without foundation because I do think it may make you look washed out. Unless you have flawless skin like the other girls mentioned.
Some guys may like the natural look, but that doesn't mean you wear no makeup at all. It means you apply your makeup to look natural. And IMO "natural" at a strip club is still a bit heavier than every day natural makeup.
This is just my opinion. I personally like to look glamorous at work. I don't want to look like myself, I want to look hella dolled up. So I may be slightly biased towards heavier makeup (as long as it's done well).

Awesome! Thanks guysI'm going to buy some BB cream, but I think I'll go with Dr Jart because they have products designed for sensitive, dry skin ... which is exactly the condition of mine on my benzoyl peroxide regimen. I'll pick up some cleansing oil, too.
So my plan is: concealer on specific spots/small pimples, and BB cream everywhere else...with eyebrows done, and lashes and eyeliner. I'm really really low maintenance so this'll be a challenge for me. The thought of wearing so much makeup makes me feel "ick!" still.
