Post your advice on traveling for work.1) bring lotion. Hotels can dry out your skin, hotel lotion is useless and it is better to bring along a lotion you prefer in case you cannot find a bottle to purchase at your destination. If you need to purchase lotion at your destination, go for one meant for sensitive skin or babies - being on the road is not the time for you to discover your skin doesn't like a certain fragrance or ingredient.2) pack a pair of lightweight pajamas to protect your skin in case the bedding is scratchy, cheap, etc. and protect against any excessive friction in the case off tossing and turning on an unfamiliar bed.3) a pair of thick socks, because floors are dirty!!4) a satin pillowcase to protect your hair and face from friction5) important phone numbers written down in case your phone breaks, disappears, or you have an emergency situation and an emergency contact needs to be reached.6) protein and fiber-rich snacks in case hunger strikes, so you can avoid impulse food purchases from the mini fridge, room service, McDonald's, etcThese are things I've thought of that are cheaper to bring from home rather than picking up at your destination, but can also be picked up at a nearby pharmacy or whatever if need be and will make life easier while you're away from home. I'll think of more and feel free to add your wisdom.
