so i heard this recipe on "rapunzels daughters" a hair blog on tumblr that if you mix a little bit of brown sugar with a cup of water and put it in a spray bottle and cover your wet hair, it will dry nice and straight. i haven't done this yet, i think it would make your hair kind of sticky! but i literally have to either straighten my hair or curl the rest of it because my hair is very coarse and thick and the top part is curly as hell but the under-layer is straighter. it also gets frizzy and helena-bonham-carter-ish. so for work i have no choice but to apply heat to straighten or curl it, and as im trying to get my hair as healthy as possible after bleaching the shit out of it , it sucks!!
so any other tips on how to straighten your hair without applying heat?
also, its getting long and i absolutely love the slightly teased at the top look, just a lot of volume at the roots..any good products to really give you volume without tearing your hair up? i used the new "flip and spray" from sally's but it makes my hair sticky and hard. ick!
