Default Help, switching to more upscale club

Tomorrow I am going in to a more upscale club with a dancer friend I met at a more hole in the wall club where I have been dancing for 3 months. I am nervous that I may not fit their club because I am used to a smaller club. My girlfriend says she is friends with the owner and that he would like me. I would absolutely love to dance at this club because it is very close commute compared to my long drive currently. I would also like the chance to be able to become a better performer on their elegant stages. And hopefully make more money? Does anyone have advice about switching from a Hole in the wall to a large upscale club??? Any suggestions about how I can make my best impression? Thanks in advance and links are ok too

Tan, lose weight, tone up more, lacey lingerie, look polished? Bigger clubs doesn't always mean more money, as I'm sure you know.

    this^^

Also, I might suggest dropping in like a super spy- have a drink during a shift you would like to work and check out the place. Obviously, you've been to different SCs before, every place has a different vibe/feel. By checking it out in advance, you'll be able to see what the other dancers are wearing, what top earners are doing...etc., and adjust and prepare as necessary.
I've bounced between divey clubs and upscale ones over my time dancing and if you dress well, are polite with the management, are attractive and physically in good shape you'll probably get hired, especially if you have a friend who is friendly with the owner, you have an edge before even coming in.

Good luck and let us know how it goes!

Generally avoid doing much (if any) floor work. That's one of the major differences between dancing in a dive vs. upscale club.

I'd also recommend not making friends with the other girls. Smile and be pleasant, but generally upscale clubs aren't as close-knit as dives.

Aside from that, the upscale club should really be a fairly easy transition. If you're used to trying to upsell in a dive, then being able to actually upsell in a nicer club will be a piece of cake (where they have nicer CRs & VIPs that customers actually want to buy).

^Yes dahling, there are exceptions to the rule.

The best bet is to watch the other girls dance for a few minutes before your audition.
