Default Blue Collar Strip Clubs- Working hard for nothing

Okay Ladies, I know we all work in different types of clubs. But for those of you that have worked in smaller clubs, duves, or blue collar clubs...this is for you.

No matter how hard I try...I can never name money and I want. I see girls making $3-4-500+ plus a night. I can only leave with $150 if im lucky. I live in the in the middle os San Antonio. I change my hair, dance sexy, approach customers and they all have an excuse if they dont want complany.

Im just sick of girls making $200+ shift...and I can only make $120 average!!!!

One customer told me today, "This is a blue collar city, everyone who comes out are on a budget." Im very athletic tone to me and many men like it...but no matter how much they tell me how good I look, it never makes up in the $$$.

Is the city Im in that bad...do I need to drive 3hrs just to make money. For god sake we have $5 dances!!! WTF!!!!

This might sound crazy, but maybe you dress or carry yourself too "classy." Gowns and upscale outfits stand out in a bad way in dives, and showing off your smarts or worldliness also doesn't often go over well with the clientele. The girl next door who is full of smiles and can get the customer in a feeling like a rock star is most likely to do well in a blue collar club.

Try to play down your look a bit, it might attract more, that's what I did & it was crazy how much it worked! Shanna is right though about the blue collar crowd , that's my fave type of customer to work bc with my crazy out of the norm style they spend $$ on me whereas the white collar crowd has always been hit or miss with me. I prefer dives though bc if you stand out in a place you're odds are better for making $$$. Try traveling out of the city into smaller towns/cities with less competition.

depending on the type of work they do, blue collar men can have as much or more money as white collar men, and if you get on their good side they spend more freely. i find them to be much more good natured and amiable than the businessmen. shana is right, a lot of them like sweet, casual, almost tomboy girl next door. drink with them, joke with them a lot of them like it when you are into trucks, mudding, hunting, shit like that..i fit right in with them being from a white trash town, but its a totally different ball game than with lawyers and bankers.

I know there are blue collar guys who can have as much money as white collar...but it seems here the only people who spend money are the guys who own BIG businesses and most of them dont come in where I work.

Austin is an hour away...and the dance scene is great there! I want to go there but my city has this new law...there are girls heading there. Its freaking crazy!!!!

Try Rick's in San Antonio or maybe it was by Universal City that I worked at but yea over there I would get $20 dances all night long & the songs were only a minute or two long bc they had alot of girls that wanted to go onstage so they'd cut the songs , I'd usually average around $300 -400 on weeknights, weekends were much busier. The management was super cool too, they also had VIPs but I think those were a joke, I always had mote luck walking around & getting flagged down for the reg dances & you keep ALL your money. only pay house at the end of shift which was around $30, DJ $10, and housemom $10 (but i never tipped her anything bc i never even used her stuff. I liked that club, it was full of blue collar types though just so ya know~ Try it, you never know.

Just because don't discriminate against alt girls it doesn't mean that money is good for them over there. Ten dollar dances is the norm in the majority of Austin clubs. Perfect Ten is not in the Austin city limits, but in Round Rock, but money is better there.

Well I always thought it would be better there...for god's sake...I went to dance at a club in houston and made $100 shaking my ass on stage for 5 mins.

Where I work I only get $1-3 per customer who tips me while Im dancing...pole tricks included. Im trying to build muscle and learn new tricks so I can stop dancing in San Antonio and go to other places...it really sucks here.

^Do other girls get tipped more on stage without doing pole tricks? I've always found that, while other girls appreciate the pole trick heavy show, customers aren't as into it. Try doing a stage show of lingerie modeling - pose, move slowly, make lots of eye contact with the customers, and flash them coy little smiles. It's more personal and sensual, and it might lead to more tips.

Yes...I do the sexy poses to but our club is very mixed. So what works for some guys...dont work for others. I just get tired of seeing the most basic looking girls make money. I bust my ass at the gym...have nice hair and makeup...and what not and I still cant make money.
    Its so annoying to me.

Not to be rude but this 30-40 something year old just came back and ahe has cellulite on her ass...not to knock anyone down with cellulite, and she still made more money. Like WTF!!!!

Dude it's like bargain shopping. You get more bang for your buck. A 5 will work much harder to please than a 10 will.

I don't like it either buy it happens. The Barbie blondes with the fake tits are on top of the food chain and they have no competition, the bottom feeders also squeeze those of us stuck in the middle of the food chain.

I dont do pole tricks and I know for sure I make more stage money than girls who never leave the pole. That said if I did know pole tricks I would mix it up a bit. and if its early on in the night and there's no one sitting at the stage then I really feel dumb.

3 of the 4 top earners at my club are older women, like 35 plus

Hey...! 30 -40 is a pretty broad spectrum... like a whole decade! I'm 31 & a consistent earner at a blue collar/mid tier club that does $10 low contact table dances. There is something to be said for the "older, more seasoned" stripper. We tend to be better earners many times because we're experienced, know our demographic, have our hustle down & have a strong work ethic. Also, I don't know if you noticed but many older men prefer an older dancer over a younger dancer especially if they have a teenage or 20 something daughter. Freaks em out. Then you always have the cougar aspect for the younger ones. Being in your 30's is a powerful age, I'd say.

Also, I luv how you excuse cellulite away, but forgot about the age insult you threw in there. Cellulite has nothing to do w/ the way a woman takes care of herself. It's very natural happening & most of us will more than likely wind up w/ it at some point as we get older. Funny thing is I have a tiny amount on my inner thighs & then I've also worked w/ girls in their early 20's that have a whole ass full. Ultimately, while we women may analyze the hell out of that shit -the men don't care about age or alittle bit of cellulite. You either need to change your hustle & look up tips in this thread or others; pair up w/ a higher earner there & learn what she's doing; or know when to fold & try another club (maybe blue collar or mid tier is just not a good fit for you -hell, gown only clubs are a waste of time for me). The definition of insanity is repeating the same action & expecting different results. Try another club, move to a dif city, or get a bar job/vanilla job to balance w/ your stripping job until you figure something out, maybe. I wish you luck in your endeavors.

Oh yes...I understand...not all older dancers are bad...yes many are top earners...but this women...could barely more around the pole and was the complete opposite of sexy. I could see if she looked grate...age would not matter than
    ..but she was a mess.

Try not to let customer opinion influence you.

Customer saying that everybody comes to the club on a budget - yeah maybe for YOU. How does he know? Did he do a survey on the thousands of guys that come in?

I hear customers say all the time how dead it is in the club but I still make money. Or girls complain how it's been a bad week. Yeah maybe for YOU.

I try to keep from letting customers or girls opinions influence your beliefs or your money.
