Default OC v SD? Help a poor newbie out?

So excited to make my first post on SW!

Anyway, recently I've been looking into clubs in the OC and I decided Fritz's would make a great first club for a newbie like me! But I keep delaying myself from just going in and applying. And I think it's because it's just too darn close to home for me and I feel uneasy with the idea of being recognized.

So I started looking into clubs in SD like Pacer's and the idea of dancing there feels better than dancing in the OC. I feel less anxious. But my lord! The fee for the license in SD is astronomical!!

I just want the advice from you vets, what should I do? Should I just give it a go and dance in Orange County and just keep my eyes peeled or should I invest and go dance with a lighter mind in SD? Does one place have a better earning potential than another??

Any help would be so so so appreciated!!!

Before you invest in an expensive license, I'd give the local club a shot first. There's no sense in dropping a lot of money on something you aren't even sure about, so work a shift or two, make some money for the license, and then get it if you decide dancing is right for you. If you're paranoid about being recognized, wear your hair and make up different than you normally do, avoid shifts where people you know might show up (probably Friday/Saturday night if you have young friends), and remember that if you get caught, the person catching you is also caught for being at the club.

I hope this doesn't come off like a creeper but I've been lurking on this site for awhile now and I think you personally give some of the best advice on here! I always learn something from the threads you've posted on! So tho I may sound like a little bit like a weirdo, I did geek out a little when I saw that Shanna Dior had replied! Lol. >.<

    Thanks again!

Psh, yeah. I've had my eye on her for a while now, too. Now if only she'd accept that mod position she keeps getting offered...
