Default How to figure cost of selling clothes?

Hi everyone, I am pretty new to camming (last week was my first week) but I have been reading this forum for about the past month just trying to absorb everything I could. I tried searching (maybe I am searching by the wrong words?) but I couldn't find anything to help me with my answer. Someone has mentioned buying a whole outfit from me including dress, panties, bra, pantyhose, and shoes. I told him I would let him know as soon as I came up with a price. He has already purchased my 1st video. I am just wondering how do you even come up with a price for things like this?
I also wanted to say thank you to all of you who have given advice and your thoughts on this forum. It really really helped me to decide whether to cam and how to go about doing camming. So far I think I am doing ok.....I hope...lol

There's no magical formula for pricing worn items that I know of.. .but I've seen panties go for $50-$100+, socks for $15-30... a whole outfit would be pretty damn expensive for me to sell to a guy.. especially if I had to wear it all first. You have to make sure you're making a big profit margin on the outfit.. you don't want to sell a dress you bought for $50 for only $60, for example.

If I was selling an entire outfit of older clothing, including shoes (as in good condition, but I don't want to wear anymore, and old enough that the price I initially paid isn't important), I'd say around $250-$300. I'm curious to see what other responses are, I might be off target.

If I've seen that a guy has good feedback on whatever site I'm on, or they have paid me serious money in the past, I tell them to make me an offer.

Another idea is that instead of parting with any of your clothes, you can always find nice dresses and shoes at a thrift store, perhaps both for less than $10. Wear them for however long he wants you to, and you're all set. Your profit margin would be high, and you wouldn't have to give up any of your clothes.

Thank you qurl. I really appreciate the answer. It does help and I love the idea of buying something at the thrift store that I could wear and send. Of course if I sent out one of my older outfits it would give me a good excuse to buy a new one...lol

If I'm selling anything I take into account how much it would cost to replace, this is especially true with Basques, corsets and under wear sets. Also don't forget the postage cost, if using a courier this can be expensive and you don't want any profit diminishing due to postage. Usually guys ask how much something would be and when I tell them they vanish! Lol I buy a lot of my camming clothes from charity shops and boot sales, so they are second hand or pre loved. Incase you are wondering a boot sale is like a large out door market, usually in a big field, where people sell their unwanted items out of the trunk of their cars

    I'm in the UK btw

Thanks MissD, I haven't told him yet what cost I was going to make it. I decided to go through my clothes and see what I had first I have actually been wanting to declutter my closet and dresser ..(heck my whole house...lol). This way even if he decides to back out I still have an idea of what I have to sell in case I get asked again. I also plan on going to the thrift stores soon.

Do you use Adult Work? That's a great place to legitimately sell adult related stuff and the custy doesn't know you're address etc. lots of girls sell of their old outfits, you just list them a bit like Ebay but with buy it now prices, so if you are having a clear out it might be worth looking at?
