MANY MEN WANTED TO LAY ME DOWN, BUT FEW WANTED TO LIFT ME UP
-Eartha Kitt

this is interesting. at the same time she acts like stripping was this horrible experience because of the negative feedback by her peers and school officials. makes me wonder what her actual feelings about it where, if she hadn't gotten sacked. wish she had been more defensive and proud of herself and her actions. we don't know the whole story but im not supprised. but she didnt do much to defend the industry either, she sorta just feed back into the public perception that strippers are making bad life choices and are miserable and whatever.
Every time someone gets caught up in some kind of drama in the adult industry, they always say how "horrible" of a decision it was. I'm OVER it.
^^ Yea they do, Id respect them more for telling it like it is. If this happened to me Id say I did what I had to do, I was laid off with no income, there was no other choice and it is what it is. Everyone, Ive got a big ass and y'all can kiss both cheeks!lhh.

IMHO the 'horrible experience' stuff was strategy based to help her win the lawsuit.at the same time she acts like stripping was this horrible experience because of the negative feedback by her peers and school officials. makes me wonder what her actual feelings about it where, if she hadn't gotten sacked
However, note the school district's use of stripping constituting 'Unprofessional Conduct' as ( partial ) grounds for dismissal. It's highly likely that her state's professional licensing board will cite her for this as a separate matter, which may make her odds of ever obtaining another teaching position difficult. If so the $37k settlement she will receive isn't much compensation.
I don't think she will get rehired anywhere else.
