    Default hiring question

so i know that a lot of people say, if you want to get hired don't do it with a buddy! but..
my friend used to work at this club, and wants to go back ( she got fired). i would also like to give it a try. but should we go in together while she asks for her job back, or would that kind of ruin her chances or be too much for them all at once? or on the other hand, would they be more likely to give her another chance if a 2nd girl was also looking to work there..idk. i've never gone with a buddy to get hired at a club before. im not too worried about them turning me down, but if she doesn't get hired, I'm not gonna work there either ( lots of reasons im not going to go into here)

Depends on why she was fired and things like that. I had a friend who got fired and begged to be rehired and they stated no and told me they couldn't hire a friend of hers. She was fired for getting drunk at work and asking men to meet them. She was just leading them on but still not cool.

^Exactly. I would personally go in by myself on a quiet night or during the day shift to check it out and speak to a manager. They are more likely to hire one girl and if she was fired for a credible reason (not just for gaining weight or because they had too many blondes, too many girls etc) then it could reflect badly on you and harm your chances of being hired.

It also depends on whether it's the slow season or the busy/peak/summer season at the moment. They would be more likely to hire two new girls during a busier time of year.

+1 OliveJardin. As it's said, you're judged by the company you keep, & depending on why she was fired, they could look at you & think that you'll give them the same kind of trouble.

No, go by yourself, it looks more professional always. If they don't want her they will probably not hire you too so there's no drama.

yeah we decided that we are gonna apply separately, her first. i hope they hire her back, cause if she doesn't get the job, i can't work there either so i guess it won't much matter if they don't want her back. she got fired for threatening a customer who wouldn't pay her
