Angry What 2 charge this flaky client?

Hey ladies, I have this client I saw a long time ago (year ago or so) through an agency that I no longer work with. I make my email public for people to find/use & he emailed a few months ago wanting to meet again. I did a light screening of him to make sure it was the same person & we set a date/time/price. Long story short, he changed his date like 3 times and I finally just stopped replying to him bc going to his appt would require 4 or 5 hrs driving. I considered this worth it for the price we agreed on & figured I could stay in the area & work a little more after/the next day to make a bigger profit. Now he has started emailing again, apologizing saying he has a week open coming up & could he please book. He sent an additional email right after saying he would "make it up to me" by taking me to dinner at this 5 star restaurant he sent me the link to. That kind of irritated me MORE - does he think I'm going to meet him even earlier for the same price & have dinner with him for FREE? Should I even bother booking with him? I was thinking of making him send a deposit to my email address through Paypal in case he flakes again. If I do go, how do I communicate to him that dinner = more time = bigger price on the date?! My time isn't free! And how much/what percentage of my normal hourly rate would be normal for added on dinner? UGH

I wouldn't work with him. He obviously has no consideration for your time already, and I don't see how that's gonna change. I'm sure your hourly rate is more than the cost of your dinner (especially if you're like me, and don't like to deep throat on a full stomach), and yeah, he probably expects you to spend that hour with him for the price of your meal. I hate having to explain to guys how escorts work, ie. that we really do charge for time, not just the intimate segment of our time with them.

I'd blow that guy right off, because there are a bunch of other guys who are going to have more professional courtesy and pay more than the agreed upon rate just because they like me.

Thanks girl! Think I'm gonna do just what you said. I would be so annoyed through the whole date anyways even if he miraculously didn't cancel. On to the next one!

For absolute sure, and even though we're all capable of hiding annoyance, it's not always worth it.

    On to the next one!
Cheers! There's always a next one.

If you want to see him and not have him flake out, you could always tell him you'll need the money in advance, or at least 50% or something. And word it like "oh you'd like to upgrade to a dinner date - great! I've included my website link at the bottom here in case you'd like to check out my different packages available" That way he knows dinner ain't free, and he can't NCNS because he's always paid. Worse case scenario is he DOES NCNS, in which case you made the cash without even having to see him.

If he really wants to make it up to you he will send a deposit. It is worth a try if you do think it is worth it. Most time wasters will email back with something nasty about the deposit and message you again months later thinking you forgot what a jackass he is.

True, Strippername. I just have the gut feeling he's maybe more trouble than he's worth. LOL.
