I just bought Garnier Triple Nutrition hair nutrient spray, w/avacado, almond & olive oils. I need this, I had previously used the L'oreal 5 oil spray. I'll let you know how it works

I changed my mind, & so far, loving the L'oreal Smooth Intense Creme..I didn't use heat, just kept combing. My hair's still damp & it's early though. I also used Ulta Smoothing Shampoo mini size, I didn't want to spend for a whole big bottle of shampoo lol

To give my hair that smooth, "finished" look I use a tiny amount of Bedhead's After Party. Other than that, I use Redken's Align or Ringlet after every wash (depending on if i wear my hair straight or wavy, respectively). I put it on my towel-dried (but still wet) hair and I do not have to worry about frizz.

oh yeah, i also hear that you need to blow dry your hair before going out, of if its muggy even in your house , as soon as possible or the humidity will expand your hair giving you that frizz i love frizz-fighting threads, i get plauged by it too!

I never blow-dry my hair. Ever. Only in the salon does it get a blow dryer to it. I put the align or ringlet in when it's wet and let it dry naturally. It saves my hair extra damage from heat, so it stays healthy despite being colored year-round. If you want to hit your hair with the dryer on cool, that will help seal the cuticle and help prevent frizz. Heat opens the cuticle and allows more moisture to go in.

^ yes, always blow dry on cool or maybe warm. but my stylist always told me to blow dry it its damp out..i also do the coconut oil thing which penetrate the hair shaft and actually seals the cuticle so it doesn't keep expanding and shrinking

Yeah so I returned everything I bought, I went back to the L'oreal Total Repair 5 Oil spray..you can use on wet/dry hair. I also bought a sample of John Freid 3 day straight, & Organix Morocan oil, latter of which I do NOT recommend. Had bad exp. w/Organix before.

LUV the John Frieda '3 Day Straight'!!! I did not use any heat. I just kept combing. It still has some wave, but it would be way frizzy/curly without.

weird, I love organix moroccan oil --the treatment, not the curling cream. My hair is SUPER frizzy, lately my MO has been to wash it with keratin shampoo from Sally's, then condition with a little bit of the Organix treatment and not rinse. I style with any curling cream (I'm using organix right now but I'm not crazy about it, it makes my hair look opaque). I hate my frizzy ends so I usually tame them to submission with lots of water and arghan oil. That needs frequent reapplying during the night tho. I wish I could find a product that would keep my locks in place while I frolic about...

I guess Eveyone's hair is different though. I just think maybe my hair doesn't respond well to some oils, I sometimes use regular olive oil.

I love olive oil too, but as a styling product it makes my hair look dirty. I completely agree you have to try different types of oils to see which agrees best with your hair. Coconut oil rocks too!

I love the Loreal spray oil. I just today bought Bioterra brand cream leave in at Sallys. I've used it before, & it seems to be good I also deep conditioned just my mid length to ends w/Palmer's Coconut Vit. E oil conditioner, only 1.59 @ Target, for 2 oz. I get like 3 uses out of it.
