Default Does where you sit say anything about you?

So aside from my other thread, I was wondering if it says anything about the type of person I am as far as where I sit. I've been to the same club twice, both on slow nights, and I just sat myself next to the stage. Seems most people used booths, and most of the time there might've been 1 or 2 other tables at the stage with anybody at them.

I try to be well dressed and polite, I suppose maybe I'm coming across as a sweet guy that's probably an easy victim.. Probably true. But I like going, seems kind of fun, and I'm not the type to have any problem with addictions, so if I go in with a certain amount of cash - I'll have no difficulty not spending more than that.

My impression from the dancers was they thought the people sitting away from the stage were cheap and wanted to get the show without having to tip.

Stage is pervert's row. My opinion is opposite your impression, as I find those sitting right at the stage to be the cheap ones who are just there for a free show. Of course, where I've worked stage tips are an anomaly, and the stageside sitters rarely go for dances.

What did they do or say to give you this impression?

She pretty much said what I wrote. Maybe it's just the club I went to, being that I've only been to one club, I don't exactly have a lot to compare, but I think the club would be rated as small. About a dozen tables with 2 seats each surrounding the stage, a few tables around that, and maybe 10 booths at the most around the perimeter, 2 poles on stage, a bar towards the front that's maybe 12' long. Nothing big name or franchise related.

The people I saw in the booths, I'd say I've seen frat boy types and old fat men that are regulars. Other guys sitting at the stage seemed to tend to be more into it. But I've only been there on what I've been told are slow nights, so maybe that's part of it too.

In the end, does it matter what one dancer at the club tells you she thinks of people who sit by the stage? Others will still approach you if that's what you're worried about, so just sit wherever you want and enjoy your time in the club.

I'm just overanalyzing again I'm sure. And/or bored. I've got the week off work, and the timing of this week is work-related not by choice, I'd have no problem being bored if I had a week off 2 weeks later. Besides, at this club I like the seats by the stage because there's actually room for the dancers to sit on my lap, which isn't the case at the booths.

And the dancer that said that might have been being kind, I sat by the stage.

I generally go for the guys sitting around the perimeter of the club, not stage side. First of all, if they're sitting there, it usually means they do want company and/or dances. The ones that are there for a free show are pretty shameless, and most of the time sit in the front row, staring and not tipping. It's not always the easiest thing approaching guys sitting stageside since it is generally considered bad dancer etiquette to approach a guy sitting at the stage when there is a dancer on stage. Guys who do sit stageside either tend to be there for a few drinks and a show or total freeloaders.
These are just generalizations for me and my club, about where these types tend to sit. Sit wherever you are comfortable, and if you are politely tipping, you will definitely get attention!

OK, so your analysis is based on a sampling of one...

That's why I asked, to increase sample size.

Customers who sit at (or very close to) the tip rail and don't tip are cheap, anyone else is potential

in my opinion, if you sit very close to the stage and watch and but don't tip, that's rude. so if you happen to watch the girl on stage next to where you're sitting, tip her a couple bucks... also, could you sit at the bar? are you looking for girls to come up and converse with you? do you make eye contact with dancers who walk by?

Divorced, I have some interesting experiences that I will share with you because in my eyes where a customer sits does tell me something about them.

-If I work in a club where stage tipping is the norm, if I see a customer sitting at the stage alone and tipping the girls, I will approach him. If the guy is sitting there not tipping, that would be a no-go.

-If I work in a club where stage tipping isn't the norm and a guy is sitting there, I might still approach him anyway unless there are better prospects from around the room. I usually look around the room to see who is holding eye contact with me and looks the most interested to approach first.

And then there's something that I like to call the creepy corner.

I'm not sure if all clubs have this, but in smaller clubs I'll usually notice a corner certain guys tend to gravitate toward. The corner might be the darkest corner in the club, the corner furthest away from the bouncers, or next to the entrance of the girl's dressing room. Different variations of these. I usually try to avoid these people, because on so many occasions if I do a dance for them they are adamant that I do their dance right then and there in the corner (especially the one furthest away from security), which usually leads to unpleasant surprises.

There are also the guys who are sitting anywhere else in the bar who, much to my dismay, will drag me to a creepy corner to have their lapdance. If they weren't already seated in the corner then I wouldn't usually know they would be that guy until it's too late.

Anywhere else in between is free game I think.

The clubs here if you sit at the stage & dont tip the dancers tell the bouncer & he bounces you out of the club.

The girls look at the stagesitters as the spenders & the ones that sit by the walls the cheapies.

But usually alot of people dont just sit it 1 spot all night they do move around.

Ive also seen some people sit at the stage & never get a lapdance all night while a wallperson gets multiple dances so.
