Question Using 2 diff. mascara brands

Anyone do this? I can never get the look I want (long spikey lashes) with one. I use green tube NYC big curl, Maybelline green/pink tube on top. Sometimes Benefit they're real, with the Maybelline.
I am dying to try the new Maybelline Falsies Big Eyes, it has two brushes.

I've never had any luck with brands you can buy at the drug store, until they came out with the ones that had the primer side and the comb side. Unfortunately those were discontinued. I have lashes that do nothing, so that little comb works great to separate mine and give them length and volume. I currently use High Definition Lashes by Clinique. It runs around $15 but it's damn worth the price. I don't know what I'd do without it. I've tried so many mascaras, from cheap as shit to expensive and it's the best one. It never feels dry or flakey and I don't even need to curl my lashes. It's got a comb and brush on the same stick and works very very well.

Ooh, Thank YOU! I was wanting to try the Clinique. Someone else on here said the same thing, the drugstore brands just dont cut it. I need that comb also, I have a separate one but it's old & missing teeth.

Also, they make you buy the primers separate (usually)

I tried to cut down on my makeup expenses by getting cheaper mascara, but I just don't like any drugstore brands I've tried as much as mid-priced items. Maybelline's Full 'N Soft is okay, and I layered it with CG Clump Crusher for a decent result, but I'd really rather just stick to slightly pricier favorites. I want to try Shiseido's mascara next.

I used to do that, but I've given up and now wear falsies almost daily. I don't know if it's even possible, but I would find a mascara that worked really well and after a couple of months it just didn't work anymore... I've tried several, Lancome, Dior, Clinique, MAC etc. as well as drugstore brands and while they all work very well at first, at some point they don't do anything anymore.

I used to love MAC's Opulash but I wonder if they changed the formula or if the last one I got was just a bad one... It didn't smell weird and I checked when it was manufactured and that was all okay, but the formula was SO dry, it was useless and did NOTHING. I was so pissed off...

You should've returned it, that stuff's expensive! I wonder, it might've been defective?

Also, has anyone used the new Maybelline Cat Eyes w/the 2 brushes? It's new

Yeah I know, it was stupid of me not to return it... I just thought they wouldn't accept it as it didn't smell weird or anything :/

No, no not at all...I've done that too. Maybe some places would try to not let you return, but I insist. If it's been too long since you bought, maybe you could send an email to the company, & see if they'd do something?

I'm liking Lancôme HYPNÔSE DOLL LASHES Mascara so far. I got it as a free sample from Sephora and it's working well enough that I think I'll buy the full size. The only thing is that the reviews on Sephora for this mascara are kind of "meh" so maybe it's not a homerun for everyone.

Anyway, it stays on and goes on nicely and the tip of the brush is tapered so it's tiny on one end which is really handy for getting those corners-of-the-eyes lashes.

Is it Bare Minerals Lash Domination? I just demo'd that one today and I'm in love! The spiral brush seemed so gimmicky, but it actually rocked!

Try telescopic carbon black- loreal. It's A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. You will get super long and full lashes and it's extremely black.

Estée Lauder has the best mascaras, IMO ... But it's not cheap, obv.
