does anyone know how to get oil out of sheets? A lot of my sheets and towels have a filmy, sticky feeling to them now, I am assuming it is because of the oil and lotion. I will buy more if I need to, but I'm kind of frugal, so I would rather not.

Haha, what naughty thing did you do?!Blot off excess oil with paper towel. Apply baby powder, cornstarch, or talcum powder generously to oil stain. The sooner you get powder on the stain the better, so it doesn't set. Allow powder to absorb the oil. Pre-treat stain with dish soap then throw in washer with detergent.
Be careful with the dish soap. I am thinking it might bubble like crazy like it does if you stick it in the dishwasher.
If this is happening way too much you may be using way too much oil. Yes, way too much oil! I know a lot of people use cheap vegetable oil but maybe spending a few more dollars on a water soluble oil would be better for you. What are you using? Are you using a bed or a massage table? Wal-Mart has cheap packs of towels 4 for 5 dollars. I used them when I didn't want to nag a cheap hotel for more towels. (Draw attention to myself) They are pretty much disposable. You can use them until they are yucky or throw them away.
+1 Strippername Yes, actually better to pre-treat with laundry soap to avoid over-bubbling from dish soap.

No I do body rubs, I use massage oil, not vegetable oil. gross. when you say dish soap do you mean dishwashing soap, or laundry detergent?

i was going to suggest dawn dish washing liquid to spot treat like the other person mentioned - not sure what to say about the bubbling - maybe just be carefful how much you use - i use massage lotion and it comes out with no problem

Acetone! It gets out self tanner AND oil![]()
